I quietly crawled out of bed and wrapped myself in robe and made my way to the kitchen, f prepared Colton’s favorite breakfast and made my way back to our room with food and juice.

“Yeah, they are going to install this week. I thought you would notice.”

His garage was equipped with a car lift, but the original owner left the hole in the ground and took the actual lift.

“This is too much.”

“No it’s not. You love working on cars and I know it would make life easier and maybe you could

show me how to work on them too.”

“You are perfect for me.” He kissed me hard and before I knew it I was pressed against the hood of

the car he had been restoring.

“It’s so weird to see you like this.” Issac said, scrunching up his face.

Colton just kissed me again, not caring who was watching.

Crawling into bed that night, I was beyond tired. “Marie.”

“I want to take you away this weekend. I already talked to Mom about you having Friday and Monday off.”

“Sounds nice. Where are we going?”

“Up to my cabin. It’s about 3 hours from here. We can leave on Thursday night.”

“OK.” I said, wrapping my arms around him and closing my eyes.
