“Jonathan,” Stephanie’s voice was laced with seduction, her eyes glistening alluringly. “Why don’t we try and find out?”
The enclosed room fell silent for a few seconds.
Jonathan’s gaze darkened.
The woman before him was like a kitten, pressing softly against his chest.
Her mischievous hand traced the line of his Adam’s apple, a light, teasing touch.
He had never seen this side of Stephanie before.
Suddenly, Jonathan pulled her into his arms, lifting her by the hips and setting her down on the vanity table.
He leaned in close to her ear. “So you really do have designs on me. When did this start?”
Stephanie replied, “Two minutes ago.”
Jonathan chuckled, seemingly unsatisfied with her answer.
After a moment’s thought, he said, “Works for me.”
A torrent of kisses rained down on her.
New to this kind of intimacy, Stephanie felt dizzy and breathless under his assault.
Unable to resist, she arched her neck, surrendering to his tender kisses and nibbles.
The wind outside was no match for the rapidly rising temperature inside the room.
Their heated breaths tangled together.
The man paused at the edge of her collarbone.
He gazed into her eyes, his voice suddenly hoarse as he asked, “Stephanie, who am I?”
Stephanie’s fingers lightly scratched the powerful arm Jonathan had wrapped around her waist.
She looked up, nipping at his Adam's apple. The sharp, tingling sensation sent a jolt through Jonathan.
His eyes darkened, and his kisses became more fierce.
Stephanie practically melted in his arms.
How could she have ever been prepared for such a passionate onslaught?
Her eyes were tinged with red, shimmering with moisture as her fingers threaded through his hair, messing it up. “You’re my husband, Jonathan.”
Jonathan let out a low laugh, then scooped her up by the waist and carried her to the bed.
Jonathan was incredibly patient, and his stamina was astonishing.
When it was over the first time, Stephanie’s eyes were dewy, her breathing erratic.
“You awake?”
The message woke a drowsy Tobias, who had forgotten to silence his phone.
Seeing it was only five in the morning, he yawned and called Jonathan back.
“Jonathan? What’s up? You’re up early.”
“Haven’t slept yet.”
“Hmm? Can’t sleep?”
Jonathan didn’t answer, flicking his lighter to ignite the cigarette between his lips. “Worked up a sweat. Just resting a bit before I turn in.”
Tobias was confused.
Worked up a sweat? In the middle of winter?
Then, piecing together Jonathan's cryptic words, realization dawned on him. All sleepiness vanished as he shot up in bed, ecstatic.
“Holy crap! Jonathan, you and Stephanie… you guys really went for it, huh?”
“Whoa! Jonathan, you’re not a virgin anymore!”
Jonathan was silent.
