Dahlia smiled and said, “Emma, since you agreed to the terms, we’ll go with what Kael and your mate Marcus proposed. If Kael wins, all your mates belong to me. If he loses, mine are yours.”
Dahlia wasn’t a therian, so she avoided swearing by the Beast God.
“Perfect. Let’s head to Pantheon Battlefield right now,” Emma responded without a second thought.
This so–called wager meant nothing to her.
Once they arrived at Pantheon Battlefield, the first one on her list was Dahlia.
Everyone launched their airships.
They flew directly toward Pantheon Battlefield.
Lily darted over to Dahlia and whispered beside her.
“Dahlia, I want Lucien and Silas. And Kieran too. I’m taking him.”
Emma’s mates were just too perfect.
Lily wanted every one of them.
“Oh, and Corvin. He might be a little slow, but he’s cute. He builds mechs. I guess I’ll keep him too.”
Dahlia listened, holding back an eye roll so hard it physically hurt.
This girl had a forgettable face and an endless appetite.
She wanted it all.
Why didn’t she just drop dead and take her stupidity with her?
“I heard you.”
Dahlia gave Lily a pleasant nod and a bright smile.
Once Kael won the fight, every one of Emma’s mates would drink the potion Dahlia had prepared.
And after that, Lily, her useless mate, and Emma would never step foot on Central Planet again.
Inside the ship, Emma glanced out the window. She spotted Dahlia and Lily’s airship trailing closely behind.
She turned to Kieran and said, “Once we hit Pantheon Battlefield, I’ll have Matrik and Edric stall Lily’s ship. You, Calum, and Marcus will deal with Dahlia.”
Kieran looked straight at her. His rose–tinted eyes shimmered like starlight.
“Emma, let Marcus and Calum handle her first.”

He took her hand gently.
“Marcus is close to his next Rank. A Rank 13 Chitinid is the kind of opponent he needs.
“If they fall short, I’ll finish it.”
His gaze was firm and calm.
“I’ll keep them safe.”
Marcus added, “Ms. Tibarn, Kieran said everything I wanted to say.”
Calum gave a nod beside him.
Emma saw how sure they were and didn’t argue.
She nodded. “Then be careful.”
Corvin had been listening the entire time, and his face twisted with confusion.
“Emma, what are you guys talking about? Why’s Kieran going after Dahlia?”
Kieran was a merman. Rank 10 at best. And this wasn’t even water.
He couldn’t even fight at full strength.
Wouldn’t that just be suicide?
“Shouldn’t Lucien be doing it?”
Lucien gave Corvin a light knock on the head.
“Emma’s sending Kieran because he’s actually the strongest one out of all of us now.” He couldn’t believe the guy hadn’t noticed
that.
Corvin stared at him in shock.
“What?”
He turned to Kieran, stunned.
“That… that doesn’t make sense.”
Wait.
Now that he thought about it, something had felt off at breakfast.
Kieran had made those gorgeous matching outfits. Not one of the others asked him for anything.
Marcus almost did, but the second Kieran mentioned helping Emma rank up, Marcus backed down.
Corvin’s eyes widened.
So Marcus figured out Kieran’s hidden strength from just that one sentence?

“You guys are terrible! You all knew and didn’t tell me!”
He looked utterly betrayed.
He also looked furious.
Marcus groaned from the couch beside them.
