Noelle caught a glimpse of the structure outside through the small hatch in the door and saw that it resembled that of an old castle. She wondered if Ivy, or rather, her abductors, had such powerful influence.

She then recalled that Ivy had been arrested along with Xenia and Laura, and wondered if she was now being held captive by the boss of the scam center where Ivy had once worked. It was the only explanation that made even the slightest bit of sense at the moment.

But even so, Noelle was sure that the boss of the scam center wanted her dead more than anything else. Her current environment seemed way too generous of a treatment if that was the case.

Noelle stared at the food in front of her and wondered if she should eat it. She eventually decided to eat it anyway. Given that she was being held captive, she would not be able to escape if she did not eat anything to replenish her energy.

Noelle did not try to be pretentious and just picked up the food and began eating it slowly. But after a few bites, she just could not bring herself to eat anymore.

She touched her lower belly, wondering why she would already be full despite eating so little.

After finishing what little she could bring herself to stomach, Noelle placed the tray back onto the hatch, which prompted someone to come in and clean up the tray before bringing her some fruit and dessert.

They were all her favorites. The strange feeling in Noelle's heart grew even deeper.

She walked up to the door and spoke to the person who brought in her food. "I've finished eating now. When will I get to meet your boss?"

The person was slightly surprised. "The boss will come and see you soon, when he's free, of course."

With that, they left. An indescribable feeling crept up all over her as she listened to the person leave.

Noelle looked at the fruit and dessert in front of her and could not resist trying a piece. The taste was the same as the fruits and desserts she had back home. She could not help but wonder if the store she frequented had a branch overseas.
