When news that Ethan and Amelia had finalized their divorce reached the Rowe family, the whole house erupted into chaos.

Grace was the first to lose her composure. She clutched her phone, calling Amelia’s number again and again, but all she heard was the cold message, “The number you have dialed is currently unavailable.”

She refused to give up and tried the landline, but the result was exactly the same.

“Amelia’s completely out of control! She actually dares to ignore my calls!” Grace stormed back and forth in the living room, her well–kept face twisted with anger.

Fiona also tried reaching out to Amelia several times, but without exception, she was shut out every time.

She knew that this time, Amelia really meant it. There was no going back.

“Enough. Stop calling.” Fiona spoke with finality. “If we can’t reach her, it means she doesn’t want to see us. Let’s go straight to Ethan!”

The two of them set off immediately, bringing a few maids with them as they hurried over to Ethan’s villa.

On their way there, Grace didn’t stop complaining and regretting her choices. “I knew it, I should never have let Hannah move in! Why did I feel sorry for her just because she showed up with a child, and let her into our home? Now look, everything’s been turned upside down! She is going to tear our family apart.”

When their cars pulled into the villa, they were met by Hannah and Isla, who were sitting anxiously in the living room.

Since Ethan got home, he had locked himself in his bedroom upstairs. No matter how much Hannah called out to him, there was never any response.

The moment Grace walked into the living room and saw Hannah on the couch, all the anger she’d bottled up exploded.

“Hannah, you homewrecker!” She rushed over, raised her hand, and slapped Hannah hard across the face.

A bright red handprint quickly appeared on Hannah’s cheek.

“Mom!” Isla screamed when she saw her mother get hit, and shoved Grace as hard as she could.

She found her balance, glared at the ungrateful pair, and her temper flared hotter.

“You ungrateful leeches!” Grace shouted. “Ethan took you both in and let you live like royalty! And this is how you repay him? You seduced him, ruined his marriage, and now he’s divorced from Amelia! What were you thinking?!”

“I didn’t!” Hannah clutched her burning cheek, trying to defend herself. “It wasn’t my fault! Amelia was the one who wanted a divorce! Maybe things were already bad between them, you can’t blame everything on me!”

She tried to clear her name, but to the Rowes, who were already furious, her flimsy defense only made things worse.

“That’s enough.”

Fiona cut her off.

She didn’t want to listen to another word from Hannah.

She waved at the butler and maids, giving a direct order. “Gag them and lock them up in the side building. They are not to come out unless I say so!”

“Yes, ma’am.”

At her signal, the maids surged forward.

“What are you doing? Let me go!” Hannah and Isla screamed in terror, struggling as hard as they could.

But their strength was no match for the maids.

In no time, their mouths were gagged with cloth, and they could only make muffled cries as they were dragged out of the main building.

Grace followed Fiona up the stairs and quickly made her way to Ethan’s bedroom on the second floor.

“Ethan, open up!” Grace knocked hard on the door, her voice urgent. “Do you

idea how much the company’s stock price is swinging because of your divorce? Everyone is watching us! You need to pull yourself together right now and get to the office to calm things down!”

But the only reply was a hoarse, angry shout from inside.
