Chapter 372 They’re Here
“It’s Hayden!” Amelia spotted him right away, her eyes lighting up.
Before she could think any further, the driver opened the door.
Mason stepped out first, and Amelia followed close behind.

Hayden sprinted straight toward her.
He was wearing cute cartoon pajamas, clearly yanked out of bed. His checks were pink, and his sparkled with excitement.

“Aunt Amelia! Daddy Mason! You’re finally home!” Hayden clung to Amelia’s leg, his voice loud and happy.
“Hayden!” Amelia squatted down in shock and hugged him tight. “What are you doing here?”
But as she lifted her head, she suddenly noticed something.
Hayden’s big, curious eyes were fixed on her and Mason’s interlocked hands.
They were standing way too close, almost shoulder to shoulder.
“Aunt Amelia, why are you holding hands?” Hayden tilted his head and pointed at their hands.
Kids had no filter. One sentence was enough to land a direct hit.
“I–We…” Amelia reacted on instinct, yanking her hand free from Mason’s.
She even pushed him lightly, trying to put some space between them.
Just then, a familiar, gentle female voice floated out from the hall, warm and smiling. “Hayden, are Mason and Amelia back?”
It was Nora.
“Yes, Grandma!” Hayden shouted back.
Amelia’s scalp prickled.
She never imagined seeing Nora again under such chaotic conditions.
She quickly pulled herself together, forcing her face to stay calm.
The hall doors opened, and Nora slowly wheeled Evan out.
Her smile was soft and kind.
Evan still carried that clean, refined presence. Sitting quietly in the wheelchair, he looked calm, his eyes gentle and warm.
“Amelia, welcome back.” Nora looked at Amelia, affection clear in her eyes..
Warmth flooded Amelia’s chest.
All the panic and awkwardness melted away at that single sentence.

It felt like being pulled back in time, back to the house where Nora had treated her like her own daughter.
Without thinking, Amelia rushed forward and hugged her.
“…Why are you here too?” The word “Mom” almost slipped out, but she swallowed it back.
Nora trembled slightly, then hugged Amelia even tighter.
Her eyes were wet, but her smile was full of love.
She’d had only two sons, and her husband had passed away early. After adopting Amelia, she’d cared for Amelia like a real daughter.
“We’ve been back for days,” Nora said gently. “We knew you and Mason were traveling, so we didn’t want to disturb you. We decided to wait and surprise you. Not bad, right?”
Amelia laughed through her tears. “Of course. It’s the best surprise!”
Nora patted Amelia’s shoulder. “From now on, our whole family can live together again.”
Amelia slowly let go and turned toward Evan.
He looked thinner than before, but his eyes were still bright.
That familiar, gentle smile rested on his face, just like the big brother she remembered.
“Evan, it’s been a long time,” Amelia said softly.
Evan nodded. His eyes slid past her to Mason’s dark expression, and his smile deepened a little.
“Yeah. It’s been a while.” His voice was steady.
His gaze lingered on Amelia for a second, then dropped to her left hand, still covered by gloves.
She wore warm gloves. Though they covered her skin, they couldn’t hide their distinctive material and style.
Evan lifted his eyebrows slightly, understanding something.
He looked at Mason, then back at Amelia. That knowing look made her heart thump hard.
He said slowly, “Amelia, your gloves look a lot like Mason’s.”
Heat rushed straight to her face, turning it bright red.
There was no dodging it now.
Mason had given her those gloves during their trip.
She had completely forgotten to take them off after landing.
Amelia almost hid her hand behind her back, but that felt even more suspicious.
She bit her lip, very unsure on what to say.
She looked to Mason for help, only to find him standing there quietly. He showed a teasing smile, clearly

She was both embarrassed and annoyed. He was absolutely enjoying the show.
