No Sex for Six Years Because of Her? I’m Done!

Chapter 634 Old Photos

The library walls were thick with ivy. The lawns spread wide and open, with students scattered across the benches in small groups, talking quietly in a language Amelia couldn’t follow.

Every corner of this place seemed to carry some trace of him.

She walked beside him and listened when he offered something, a comment about which building had the most interesting architecture, or which café on campus had the best coffee.

She felt like a latecomer piecing together a portrait of someone she’d never had the chance to know, assembling it from fragments.

They were passing through a long covered walkway when she stopped.

The walls were hung with framed photographs, a record of the school’s clubs and sports teams across the years, their finest moments preserved behind glass. One photo caught her eye and held it. The largest one on the wall, and the most alive.

A football team, celebrating a win. Behind them the pitch and a scoreboard. A group of young men in blue and white jerseys with their arms around each other, grinning wide, the kind of joy that doesn’t know how to be restrained. The photo had yellowed slightly at the edges, but the energy in it hadn’t faded.

Among all those unfamiliar faces, Amelia spotted him immediately. It was Mason. In the center of the group, unmistakable.

He was leaner then, the angles of his face sharper, without the settled composure he carried now. There was something more exposed about him, a brightness and an edge that belonged to someone who hadn’t yet learned to hold himself back.

She looked at him for a long moment before her gaze moved, and landed on a face beside him she also recognized, Tim.

in a way that He looked younger too, his face still carrying a roundness it had long since lost, his smile open hadn’t yet acquired the smooth, knowing quality it had now. There was something almost guileless about him.

This was a genuine historical find.

Something mischievous stirred in Amelia instantly.

She pulled out her phone before she’d fully decided to, adjusted the angle several times to avoid the off the glass, and got a clean shot. Then she sent it directly to Lily back home.

Lily responded with a string of shocked reaction images, followed by a message. “What the hell. I recognize the one on the right, he looks like a happy idiot. But the one next to him, the cool, ridiculously good- looking one, is that Mason?”

The next message came immediately. “So Tim was going for the sweet innocent pretty-boy look back then. Interesting.”

Amelia typed back quickly. “Surprised?”

“Not really.” Lily’s reply had her usual tone of dismissal. “I’ve never been into the fresh-faced type. Honestly the current version of Tim, the one life has roughed up a bit, suits me much better.”

Amelia laughed out loud.

She pocketed her phone and turned back to the photo for another look. Her eyes were just settling on that younger version of Mason again when something at the very edge of the frame made her smile go still. It was Phoebe.

She was standing at the outer edge of the group in a dress that had no business being at a sporting event, her body angled toward Mason, a carefully calibrated smile on her face.

She didn’t belong to the team. She wasn’t close enough to be a friend. She looked exactly like what she was, someone who had photobombed a moment before the shutter clicked.

The lightness Amelia had been feeling went quiet.

She turned to Mason, who had been standing patiently nearby, letting her explore at her own pace, and held the phone out to him. She kept her voice easy. “So Phoebe was close with you two back then?”
