Oops Wrong Girl to Bully (Angelina) by Xena Kessler novel Chapter 147

Chapter 147 *

Angelina’s POV

Michael Anderson stepped up to the starting line. He was the top-ranked candidate. Built like a tank.

He checked his rifle one more time. His jaw was tight. Hands steady.

Caelan stood on the platform. “You have five minutes. Begin when ready.”

Michael nodded. Entered the container maze.

The rest of us waited in the staging area. We couldn’t see inside the maze Could only hear.

The first gunshot echoed out. Then another. Then rapid fire.

Someone near me counted under their breath. “Three. Four. Five. Six.”

Then silence.

Two minutes passed. Three.

At four minutes and thirty seconds, Michael emerged from the other side.

His face was red. Sweating. He looked frustrated.

Caelan checked his tablet. “Zero points. Next candidate.”

“What?” Michael’s voice was loud. Disbelieving. “That’s impossible. I fired twenty rounds!”

“You missed every shot.” Caelan’s tone was flat. “Next candidate.”

Michael opened his mouth. Closed it. Walked away.

Whispers started around me.

“He got zero?”

“Michael Anderson got zero points?”

“If he can’t hit anything, what chance do we have?”

David Wang went next. He was ranked second. Former Army Ranger.

Same result. Five minutes of gunfire. Zero points.

Third. Jennifer. Former law enforcement. Zero points.

Fourth. Jackson. Zero points.

Fifth, sixth, seventh. All zeros.

By the eighth candidate, people were getting scared.

“This is bullshit,” someone muttered behind me. Those targets are impossible.”

“I’m starting to think no one’s supposed to pass

this.

The ninth candidate emerged. His hands were shaking. He’d run out of ammunition halfway through.

Zero points.

The tenth candidate didn’t even finish. He gave up with two minutes remaining. Just walked out.

Caelan’s voice was cold. “Forfeiture. Zero points. Next candidate.”

That was me.

I walked to the starting line. The rifle felt good in my hands. Familiar weight.

“You have five minutes,” Caelan said. His eyes met mine briefly. “Begin when ready.”

I entered the maze.

The container walls were tall. Eight feet high. Created narrow passages and blind corners.

I moved slowly. Listened.

There. Second level. Northwest corner. Footsteps on metal. Light. Careful.

I kept walking. Didn’t look up. Didn’t acknowledge I’d heard anything.

Another sound. Ground level. East side. Someone moving between containers.

I counted positions in my head. Two confirmed. Eight more somewhere in this maze.

The passage opened into a wider area. Three containers stacked to form a pyramid. Good vantage points at the top.

I stopped walking. Stood completely still.

Movement. Top of the middle container. A warrior shifted slightly. Testing if I’d noticed.

I hadn’t raised my rifle yet. Just stood there like I was confused about which direction to go.

The warrior relaxed slightly. Probably thought I was another failure like the previous ten.

I pulled a small stone from my pocket. Tossed it left. It clattered against metal.

The warrior’s head turned toward the sound. Pure instinct.

Chapter 147 *

I raised my rifle in one smooth motion. Aimed. Fired.

The bullet tore through the fabric of his tactical shirt. Right over his hear. The cloth split cleanly.

But his sensor vest underneath stayed dark. No red light. The warrior looked down at his chest. Saw the bullet hole in his shirt. His eyes went

wide.

He stood up slowly. Touched the torn fabric. Then looked at me.

His expression changed completely. Shock. Then something like awe.

If this had been real, he’d be dead. The bullet would have gone straight through his heart.

But I’d calculated the exact depth. The exact angle. Hit only the outer layer of clothing. Missed the sensor vest by millimeters.

I kept moving through the maze.

Another warrior appeared on my right. He was already moving when I turned. Fast. Professional evasion pattern.

I didn’t track his movement. Just calculated where he’d be in two seconds. Adjusted for his speed. His likely trajectory.

Fired.

The bullet caught the fabric of his sleeve. Right at shoulder level. Where his heart would be if he’d been facing forward.

He stumbled. Stopped running. Looked at his arm.

Clean hole through the cloth. The sensor vest underneath was untouched.

He turned to stare at me. His mouth opened slightly.

I heard footsteps behind me, Multiple people. Three warriors working together.

They came around the corner. All three at once. Tried to overwhelm me with numbers.

I fired three times. Rapid succession.

All three bullets found fabric. One through a jacket front. One through a hirt collar. One through tactical pants at thigh level.

All positioned over vital areas. All missing the sensors by fractions of an ch.

The three warriors stopped moving. Looked at each other. Then at their torn clothing.

I walked past them without speaking.

The remaining five warriors changed tactics. They spread out. Tried to use the maze’s complexity against me.

I closed my eyes. Let my enhanced hearing take over.

There. One directly above me. Top of the container to my left. I could hear his breathing. Slightly elevated. He was nervous now.

Two more ahead. Thirty feet. Both ground level. Their heartbeats gave them away.

Two behind me. They’d circled back. Thought they were being clever..

I opened my eyes. Raised my rifle. Fired straight up without looking.

The bullet punched through tactical fabric. The warrior above me made a choking sound.

I spun. Fired twice behind me. Both rounds found cloth over vital zones.

Then I turned forward. The last two were running. Trying to create distance.

I tracked the first one. Led the target accounting for his speed and direction. Fired.

The bullet caught his shirt at the side. Right where the heart would be from that angle.

The last warrior tried something desperate. He jumped from a container. came at me from above. Probably thought the angle would throw off

my aim.

I adjusted. Fired while he was still in mid-air.

The bullet tore through his pants. Right over the femoral artery.

He landed. Stumbled. Looked down at the hole in his clothing.

All ten warriors stood there. Looking at their torn clothes. At the precise placement of every shot.

Not a single sensor had triggered. But every single one of them knew the truth.
