Stella was genuinely furious now. She hung up, changed her clothes, and sped straight toward the Hawthorne residence.

Miranda had only said those things to provoke her, but hearing the pure venom in Stella's voice made a chill run down her spine.

Stella was absolutely unhinged. Was she going to physically attack her when she got here?

"Chloe, call your father! Quick! Tell him she's on her way! Hurry! If he's not here, she's going to tear us apart!"

Terrified, Chloe frantically dialed Frederick's number.

The butler took one look at her and bolted toward the living room, tripping over his own feet in his panic before scrambling back up.
