[Does anyone know who this guy is? He's insane!]
[No idea, but don't let the height fool you, the power level is off the charts!]
[I'm bowing down to a racing god!]
The live crowd was dead silent for a second before erupting into deafening applause, shouting endless praises.
"Incredible! That was absolutely incredible."
"I've never seen a rider with that kind of skill."
"To clear the course after a stumble like that... their luck is insane."
Only Carter knew it wasn't luck. It was pure, unadulterated skill.
Vernon Lowell couldn't help but walk over to Jason. "Where the hell did you find this pro? He's a monster!"
Jason leaned in and whispered proudly, "It's Ghost."
"Holy sh—"
Vernon barely got two words out before Jason slapped a hand over his mouth. "Keep it down!" Jason hissed. "I promised I wouldn't blow her cover."
Once Vernon nodded in understanding, Jason finally let him go.
Julius watched the two of them whispering suspiciously. He didn't know what kind of scheme they were cooking up, and frankly, he didn't care. Seeing Stella safely descend from the summit was the only thing that allowed him to breathe again.
This wife of his was full of surprises. To think she could pull off a mid-air recovery like that.
What else was she hiding from him?
Stella hadn't expected to see Julius waiting at the bottom. She shot a glance at Jason, her eyes silently asking: *Does he know it's me?*
Unable to see her face beneath the helmet, Jason misread her glare as: *Did you rat me out?*
Jason was agonizing over the choice. He desperately wanted to settle this today so this annoying playboy would leave him alone.
But his older brother had just explicitly forbidden it. What was he supposed to do?
Stella tugged on Jason's sleeve. "Take the bet. Trust me."
Steeling his nerves, Jason replied, "Fine. You're on. Today, I'm going to make you admit defeat!"
After saying that, he didn't dare look at his brother, terrified Julius might swallow him whole.
Furious, Julius stepped forward. "I said no." He reached out, grabbing Stella's hand to pull her away.
Confident that Jason hadn't exposed her and that Julius still didn't know her true identity, Stella yanked her hand free.
"Mind your own business!" she snapped, stepping firmly to Jason's side.
