Orville looked at his frustrated grandson, actually feeling quite amused. He never thought he'd see the day his prized heir got knocked down a peg.
"She was recommended by an old acquaintance of mine. I honestly don't know her true identity."
"Oh." So that was a dead end!
Whatever. She'd be back in two days. He would see if she was still in her drab disguise then, and try to figure out why she was putting on this act.
"Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, I'm heading to the office."
With that, he left. He had only stayed home today to get a better look at her, yet he hadn't even managed to get her phone number.
If Julius Blackwood or Vernon Lowell ever found out about this, they would laugh him out of the room.
Next time she came, he was definitely getting her contact info!
But to his immense frustration, when Stella showed up for her third visit, he still struck out.
Two days later, Stella arrived at the estate at the same time as before.
She looked slightly less tacky this time, wearing a simple white tee tucked into a pair of jeans, showing off a surprisingly good figure. However, her face was still covered in fake breakouts, hidden behind the same thick-rimmed glasses.
After finishing the final acupuncture session, she told Orville, "Your lingering effects are completely gone. From now on, just watch your diet. Keep it low in fat, sugar, and salt. Eat light, get plenty of fruits and vegetables, and avoid alcohol and smoking."
"Haha, alright, alright. I'll remember that. Thank you, Little Star."
"Okay, I'll be going now."
Orville called out to her, "Wait, Little Star. As a token of our gratitude, our family has prepared a few gifts for you. Just a moment."
"Grandpa Orville, you already paid me two days ago. There's no need for anything else."
She had checked the bank card he gave her—it held a staggering ten million.
