One week later.
Cut off from the Sherwood Group's resources and aggressively suppressed by Hammer Sherwood, Logan Hale's company officially declared bankruptcy.
Hammer simply refused to let a scumbag like Logan bully his little sister.
He had heard all about what went down at the Midnight Bar.
Since when did anyone have the right to mess with Hammer Sherwood's sister?
Sabrina had an appointment at Crestview Plaza today, so she arrived ten minutes early.
The moment she stepped out of her car, her path was blocked.
"Logan, what is the meaning of this? Get lost. I don't want to see you."
Just looking at him reminded her of his betrayal and her own stupidity, instantly souring her mood.
Logan glared at her furiously. "You're incredibly vicious, Sabrina. You pulled the Sherwood Group's resources without a second thought. Do you have any idea how much my company lost because of that?"
"Logan, are you entirely delusional? How dare you play the victim? You were malicious enough to drug me so another man could take advantage of me, and you expect me to let you use my family's resources? Are you that naive, or did you just think I was that stupid?"
"Sabrina, I already explained to you—Ashley put me up to it. Just talk to your brother. Ask him to help me, please. My company went under, but if your brother steps in, I can still bounce back."
He had to get this woman to help him. He couldn't accept his company going bankrupt just like that.
Sabrina sneered. "You should be thanking your lucky stars that Ashley was stupid enough to take all the blame. Otherwise, do you really think you'd be standing here talking to me right now?"
"So you're determined to back me into a corner? You don't care about our history at all?" Logan's eyes were red, likely from rage.
Sabrina exploded. "Stop right there. Don't you dare put this on me. Before you met me, you didn't have access to my family's resources anyway, did you?
You got plenty of opportunities through me and made a ton of money. Not only were you ungrateful, but you conspired with another woman to set me up!
