"What am I trying to do? Getting your brother to give me some spending money, obviously. How much do you think a precious Sherwood heiress is worth?"
Logan twisted Sabrina's arms behind her back and shoved her toward the warehouse entrance.
Sabrina struggled with all her might to break free from his grip, but it was no use.
Her mind raced, frantically searching for an escape plan.
No. She couldn't let him control her like this.
As they stepped into the warehouse, Sabrina suddenly lifted her heel and stomped down viciously on Logan's foot. He let out a howl of pain.
He grabbed a handful of her hair and slapped her hard across the face. "You want to die?!"
He hit her with so much force that her vision spun. She shook her head to clear it and aimed a kick at him, but this time he was ready and dodged it.
After slapping her, Logan clamped a hand around her throat and shoved her deeper into the warehouse.
Clawing at his hand and struggling for breath, Sabrina gasped, "You're out of your mind. You know kidnapping is a felony, right?"
Logan forced her all the way inside, backing her up against a concrete pillar. Pinning her there with his body, he pulled out a roll of packing tape he'd prepared and wrapped it around her and the pillar, over and over.
He slapped her again, his face twisted in rage. "Of course I know! But you forced my hand! If your brother hadn't pulled all his contracts and sabotaged me behind my back, my company would still be standing.
I have absolutely nothing left. Obviously, I'm going to use you to get some cash."
Sabrina tried to reason with him. "It's not too late to stop. Let me go, and I swear I'll pretend this never happened. If you go through with this, there's no turning back."
