Queen of Wild Cards novel Chapter 217

Rhoda's face flushed a deep, humiliated crimson. Driven by sheer embarrassment and rage, she raised her hand to strike Stella.

Stella caught her wrist, delivered another effortless shove, and sent her tumbling straight back into Yvonne, who was just getting to her feet. They both hit the floor again.

This time, the fall was even worse. Stella had put a little extra force into it, resulting in Rhoda landing squarely on top of Yvonne.

Yvonne shrieked, "Get off me, you're crushing me! Get up!"

Rhoda scrambled off and hurriedly hauled Yvonne to her feet.

Stella dusted off her hands and sighed. "Can't you rich girls come up with any new moves? You throw slaps like common thugs, and when someone simply blocks you, you throw yourselves on the floor and fake falls to try and extort us!"

Sabrina blinked. *Wait, I slapped her earlier... Did Stella just roast me too?*

*Well, at least I didn't fake a fall. I'm completely different!* she reassured herself.

Rhoda stammered, "You... you clearly shoved me! I didn't fake anything!"

Yvonne glared. "You bumpkin! Who's trying to extort you?"

Stella blatantly lied with a straight face, "You are. I gently held your hand to stop you from assaulting us, and you purposefully threw yourselves on the ground.

Let me guess the next step: you'll demand I compensate you by buying that dress for you, because you liked it but didn't want to pay for it.

And since you know I'm just a 'bumpkin' without money, your real target is Sabrina. You want to extort her into paying for it so you get a free dress.

Did you think just because I'm from the country I wouldn't see right through your scam? I should call the cops and press charges for fraud!"

Anyone could spin wild accusations. It wasn't hard!

Sabrina watched the two scurry away in defeat and flashed Stella a huge thumbs-up. "That's my girl. Total respect!"

It reminded her of the kidnapping in the abandoned warehouse, when Stella had casually ordered her to beat Logan with a stiletto and handed her a dagger to slice his junk off.

Now, watching Stella verbally and physically obliterate Yvonne, Sabrina realized there was absolutely no one she admired more.

Stella offered a small, Mona Lisa-esque smile.

Oh, they'd have plenty more suffering waiting for them when they got home.

Especially Rhoda. The girl had been thoroughly embarrassed time and time again, yet still hadn't learned to stop walking directly into the line of fire.

With the trash taken out, Stella happily went to try on her dress.
