Queen of Wild Cards novel Chapter 218

When Stella stepped out of the dressing room, even Sabrina, as a woman, was momentarily breathless.

Stella was wearing a sky-blue, off-the-shoulder dress that perfectly showcased her elegant, porcelain collarbones and slender neck. Combined with her angelic face and phenomenal curves, she looked utterly breathtaking.

Sabrina genuinely couldn't look away.

The sales associate was just as mesmerized. The dress looked like it had been custom-tailored exclusively for her. It was a flawless fit.

And watching from the floor above, Julius saw everything with absolute clarity.

He had been keeping an eye on them ever since Yvonne entered the store. He had just witnessed exactly how his little wife had managed to chase Yvonne out.

He had almost gone down to intervene, but once he saw her spectacular performance and realized she was in zero danger of losing the fight, he quietly stayed upstairs to enjoy the show.

It made perfect sense. With her fiery refusal to ever take a hit lying down, there was no way a brainless idiot like Yvonne was going to bully her. Yvonne wasn't worthy to tie his wife's shoes.

But seeing her step out in that blue dress... she was stunning.

How was his wife this beautiful?

Yvonne wasn't just brainless, she was legally blind. Who had ever seen a 'country bumpkin' look like a supermodel?

His wife was a million times more beautiful than her.

There was no way he was letting Sabrina pay for that dress. He was paying for it.

It was his job to make the money, and her job to look gorgeous!

He hadn't expected his routine corporate inspection to come with such an incredible bonus.

He murmured a few instructions to Sean Cahill. Sean nodded, immediately pulled out his phone, and made a call.

"Of course. You're already gorgeous, Sabrina. This dress just highlights your height and makes you look incredibly sleek, while still hugging your curves perfectly. Wear this out, and heads will be turning constantly."

Sabrina checked herself out in the mirror. Stella was right—it hugged her in all the right places and flowed everywhere else.

The more she looked, the more she loved it. "You really know exactly what to say. Quick, look around, is there anything else you want? Or anything else for me?"

Stella's Mona Lisa smile returned. "Nope, we're good."

With both having found the perfect outfits, Sabrina handed her card to the sales associate. "Ring them both up together."

The associate swiped the card and handed it back.

Looking at the notification on her phone, Sabrina frowned. "Did you punch in the wrong amount? How is this only a hundred bucks?"
