Aside from her habit of cuddling a pillow, she was a flawless sleeper!
What a little liar. All that nonsense about grinding her teeth, snoring, sleepwalking, and kicking was entirely fabricated.
Bathed in the soft glow of the nightlight, Julius quietly admired her beautiful sleeping face for a very long time.
...
The next morning.
When Stella woke up, Julius was already out of bed. He wasn't in the room, so he had likely taken the elevator down to the first floor in his wheelchair.
She had slept exceptionally well. Having someone beside her didn't keep her awake at all; in fact, she had drifted off quickly.
It seemed that sharing a bed with him had zero negative impact.
After freshening up, she headed downstairs.
Sure enough, she found him chatting with Nadine in the living area.
Nadine greeted her with extraordinary enthusiasm. "Chloe, you're up! Come over here, let's grab some breakfast."
Stella walked over to push Julius's wheelchair. "Nadine, you don't have to wait for me in the mornings. My wake-up times can be pretty unpredictable."
It made her feel slightly guilty to have an elder wait on her for a meal.
"It's just for today! This is your first breakfast as newlyweds, so we absolutely had to wait. The kitchen prepared a magnificent spread for you two. Let's hurry over to the dining room."
When the three of them reached the dining room, the food was already laid out on the table.
It was indeed lavish, far surpassing even the most high-end hotel brunch buffets.
Lobster bisque, caviar tarts, truffle pastries, red rice prawn rolls, premium pepper steaks, delicate miniature quiches, steamed ribs, artisan smoothies, coffee, and fresh milk...
It was an overwhelming amount of food. Could three people really finish all this?
Given his immense wealth and power, this shouldn't be an issue.
Just as she expected, Julius nodded. "Yes. Blackwood Group owns a private hospital. Whatever you need, they'll provide."
He wasn't bragging; the Blackwood private hospital boasted the most advanced equipment and top-tier medical talent in the industry. It wouldn't be a problem at all.
"Good. I need an operating room and two tight-lipped surgical assistants. These guys need to be the absolute best at what they do, with flawless technical skills."
"More importantly, they cannot interfere with my decisions or question my methods during the procedure. They have to follow my commands perfectly."
"As for the equipment and supplies, I'll write you a list. Whenever you have everything prepped, we can begin the second phase."
Having understood her requirements, Julius said, "Write the list. The personnel and supplies will be ready for you today."
None of this was difficult for him. One phone call was all it would take.
