Although the fighter from Rubinia Country couldn't understand a word Stella was saying, he perfectly understood her universal hand gestures.
He paused. "Are you trying to apologize to me?"
"Did you bring a knife with you today?" Stella couldn't understand him either, but that didn't stop her from asking her own questions.
The Rubinian fighter still had no clue what she was saying. Assuming she was apologizing, he gave a curt nod.
"Oh, good. Just don't gut yourself right in front of me later. I absolutely hate getting blood on my clothes."
"I accept your apology. Let's begin!"
Seeing as she was being polite, he magnanimously decided to forgive her.
The two of them stood on the stage, having entirely separate conversations without a hitch.
Julius stood in the audience, shaking his head. These two were absolute geniuses.
Down below, someone from the Rubinian team clearly understood Stella. He yelled up to his teammate, "Stop wasting time talking to her! Kill her! She's insulting you!"
Hearing his teammate's warning, the fighter glared furiously at her. "You bastard, go to hell!"
He charged at her once more.
"You really overestimate yourself," she scoffed.
She sidestepped his attack with ease and delivered a swift punch in return.
The blow sent him crashing to the mat, completely unable to get back up.
The crowd erupted into an uproar again.
The little girl everyone had underestimated had just knocked a grown man out cold?
It was unbelievable!
"Sir, where on earth did you find her? She's incredible!" the man who had just returned exclaimed excitedly.
During the first round, he genuinely believed she had only beaten the Faldoria Country fighter out of sheer luck.
He certainly didn't think so anymore. That girl had real skill!
"She approached me and volunteered. I couldn't wait for you to get back, and the match was about to start. I was worried sick."
The team leader was not only thrilled but practically dizzy. This was completely beyond his wildest expectations.
With that, she casually walked over and kicked the Rubinian fighter right off the stage.
It was not a light kick. She had put some serious force into it, entirely on purpose.
The girl threw her hands up and looked at the referee. "See? He's out!"
The referee had no choice but to grab her wrist, raising her arm in the air. "The winner is Veridia Country."
The Veridian man in the crowd cheered excitedly, "Sir, look! She won again!"
The team leader nodded vigorously, equally thrilled. "Yes, she did. That's fantastic."
The Rubinian man who had been kicked off the stage was hauled away by his teammates, glaring daggers at Stella as she stepped down.
She rolled her eyes. "What are you looking at? If you can't handle losing, go fall on your sword."
She absolutely despised people from Rubinia Country.
Julius walked over and handed her a bottle of water. "Are you tired? Here, have a drink."
"Not at all. I just punched him once and he went down. I didn't realize he'd be that weak."
