"What brings you here? Are you cold?"

"No, I feel perfectly warm the second I see you." She knew exactly how to play the sweet, devoted lover.

Tiger's lips curled up. "You're getting better with your words. Were you bored at home again?"

Stella shook her head. "No, I actually wanted to buy some pregnancy books, but I don't know where to get them. That's why I came to find you."

"That's easy. I'll have my men track some down and bring them back to the house tonight. Whatever you want, just tell me." He was incredibly pleased that her entire world now revolved around him and the baby.

Ever since she arrived, he hadn't even looked at another woman. They all seemed utterly repulsive compared to her.

They were ugly, she was flawless, and the nights they had shared had been mind-blowing. It was a shame he couldn't touch her while she was pregnant.

But as long as this beautiful little creature stayed faithfully by his side, he was willing to swear off other women entirely.

Stella had been in his office a few times now. She noted that aside from a massive wooden filing cabinet against the wall, there were no other storage units or visible safes.

The filing cabinet was solid wood; there was no way to see inside or tell if it held the ledgers she needed.

However, she did notice a massive antique floor vase tucked away in the corner.

She wondered if he was hiding anything inside it.

She'd have to find a way to dig through it later.

"What are you thinking about?" Tiger asked, handing her a glass of water. "Here, have some water."

"Nothing, I was just thinking about going to the supermarket to buy some fries." She had zoned out, so she quickly threw out an excuse.

"Absolutely not. No junk food. It's bad for the baby."

Seeing his tone darken, Stella immediately shrank back in mock terror. "Okay! I won't eat them, I promise. I'll just go home."
