"Fair point. I posted a video, and Jason already saw it."
With Jason's big mouth, he would tell his brother everything. Jason knowing meant Julius knew.
"It's fine. So what if he knows?"
What did it matter anyway?
She and Julius were currently dealing with a divorce!
Just as Vernon predicted, Jason told Julius all about Stella's racing.
Julius had already clicked on Vernon's social media post. He almost called her right then, but after a moment's thought, he decided against it.
She was still upset and giving him the cold shoulder. Letting her vent her frustration on the track was probably a good thing.
For someone who rode mountain bikes that fearlessly, being a skilled racecar driver wasn't surprising.
He sent Vernon a text, demanding the full, unedited video of Stella's race.
If he couldn't watch her race in person, he was at least going to watch the video!
......
Three days later.
Julius stared at the two DNA paternity reports he had commissioned from entirely different agencies, grinning like an absolute fool.
The baby wasn't his!
He had never betrayed Stella!!
He wasn't a scumbag!!!
After reveling in his joy for a moment, he instantly dialed Stella's number.
Stella had also just received her own test results. She had intentionally driven to a neighboring city near the capital to get it done, paranoid that Julius possessed enough power to tamper with the blood samples in his own city.
Staring at the conclusive results on the paper, she let out a massive breath of relief.
Thank god the baby wasn't Julius's. Thank god!
Her phone rang inside her purse. She pulled it out and saw Julius's name on the screen.
He must have gotten his results too.
She swiped to answer. "Hello?"
