Kyson took out his phone and added Serena, telling her to bring her resume and report to Astral Pharmaceuticals after ten the next morning, giving him time to brief the office.

"Understood. Thank you, Mr. Sterling."

With business handled and the hour growing late, Stella looked at Kyson. "Could you give Serena a ride home?"

She was a pretty girl out late at night, and Stella wanted to make sure she got back safely.

"No problem. Aren't you going to see my sister? If she finds out you were in Bay City and didn't visit, she's going to throw a fit."

His sister adored Stella and constantly urged him to pursue her.

He wanted to, but Stella had completely shut that door. What could he do?

Especially now that she was married, he could only treat her as a friend.

Stella thought for a moment. "I'll be here for another day. I'll reach out to her and make time to see her tomorrow evening."

"Alright, sounds good. Are you staying here tonight or heading back to the lab apartment?" Kyson asked.

"We'll stay at the lab. I have a few things to take care of tomorrow. I'll meet up with Tiana tomorrow night, stay at a hotel here, and fly straight back to the Capital the morning after."

Kyson suggested, "Let's grab dinner together tomorrow night, then. It's Saturday, so Tiana will be free."

His sister was in the final stretch of her senior year, buried in her studies. Getting her out to see Stella and having a nice dinner would be a great way for her to relax.
