Queen of Wild Cards novel Chapter 633

Stella mocked his stutter seamlessly. "W-w-why can't it be me?"

She stepped forward, grabbed his trembling finger, and applied a fraction of pressure. He instantly began squealing like a slaughtered pig. "Ow, ow, ow! Let go!"

Stella released him, tilting her head adorably as she leaned in. "Bruno, it's been a while. When did you become the big boss around here?"

Bruno avoided her gaze like she was the plague, turning his head away and muttering under his breath, "Because of you, obviously."

He had no idea how this woman possessed such monstrous strength. Even with her hands bound, she had nearly snapped his finger in half.

Stella straightened up. "What are you whispering about, Bruno? Are you cursing me out?"

Bruno practically leaped out of his chair, panic-stricken. "Ma'am! I wouldn't dare! I was just praising you."

"Oh? Praising me for what?"

Bruno forced the lie through his teeth. "Praising your angelic beauty and kind heart."

Angelic beauty, maybe. Kind heart? Absolutely not.

Bruno hurriedly pulled his chair over to her, completely subservient. "Please have a seat, ma'am."

Stella didn't hesitate, sinking comfortably into the chair. "So, if I'm such a beautiful, kind-hearted angel, how could you bear to have me drugged, hog-tied, and splashed with water?"

Bruno scrambled to defend himself. "I didn't! I would never! These idiots completely misunderstood my orders! I told them to politely invite you!"

He whipped around and delivered a brutal backhand to Milo's face. "You absolute moron! I said invite her! Who told you to tie her up? Untie her right now!"

After hitting Milo, he turned and slapped the blond guy. "Useless trash!"

Then he smacked the guy in the black T-shirt. "Blind idiots!"

Milo and the others were completely shell-shocked. Hadn't he specifically ordered them to kidnap her so he could torture her himself?
