After listening, Stella closed her eyes for a moment to think, then turned to Marsh. "Marsh, take me to the exact spot where that official vanished."

She figured Julius must have noticed the anomaly on the mountain, and not wanting his entire team to get trapped, he had gone in alone.

The fact that he told his subordinate to call her before going in meant he knew she could help. Otherwise, he would never have someone involve her in such a highly classified mission.

She needed to see the mountain for herself before deciding on her next move.

"Understood, Ma'am. I'll take you there right now."

Marsh led Stella to the section of the mountain they were guarding. There were still other operatives stationed around the perimeter.

"Mrs. Blackwood, this is where the Boss went in. This is the center point of the mountain. After he stepped inside, he was gone. No matter how hard we looked, we couldn't find him, and the official vanished without a trace too."

Stella began inspecting the surrounding area closely.

It wasn't an incredibly dense forest, nor was it a jungle. It looked like an ordinary mountain peak—at most, the trees were slightly thicker than usual. How could a person just walk in and disappear?

She walked around the perimeter twice and actually spotted some clues.

Not bad. The technique was fairly advanced. No wonder she didn't catch it at first glance.

"Marsh, if my guess is right, our big rat is trapped inside. I have a way to catch him. Detail two men to come in with me."

"Are you sure? Do you want me to bring more men?"

The Boss had disappeared just by walking in. Would two men be enough?

If anything happened to her inside, the Boss would probably kill him.

"Having more people won't help. Just listen to me. Pick two capable men with a bit of strength to come in and grab him."
