Frederick was entirely convinced that Stella would hand over the Astral shares, so he spoke with immense smugness.
Stella was so furious she nearly jumped up and hit him. How dare Frederick!
Even though she knew he had never truly loved her mother, they had still lived together for ten years!
"Frederick, you're absolutely shameless!"
Frederick didn't even flinch; instead, he boasted, "So, are you going to make the trade or not? I've got the share transfer agreement all drawn up. Once you sign it, you can take your mother's ashes right now."
Seeing that the moment was right, Miranda promptly handed the share transfer document to Stella.
Stella glanced at it and almost laughed out loud in sheer disbelief.
She didn't know whether to call Frederick overly greedy or just plain ignorant for having the audacity to demand seventy percent of Astral's shares.
She only held sixty percent of the shares herself, and twenty percent of that was dedicated strictly to funding the research team. Where did Frederick even get the nerve to ask for this much?
"Frederick, are you out of your mind? Why don't you just demand to be the chairman of Astral while you're at it?"
Frederick smirked confidently. "Once you sign over the shares, I will be the largest shareholder of Astral, making me the chairman with absolute authority."
"Do you think Astral's CEO is an idiot, or do you think I'm some sort of miracle worker? Seventy percent? You really have a wild imagination. Do you even know who the CEO of Astral is?"
Frederick replied with extreme arrogance, "I don't care who the CEO of Astral is, I know you can handle it. With Julius backing you, even buying out the entire company wouldn't be an issue."
Julius had more money than he could spend in several lifetimes. To him, a company like Astral was merely a drop in the bucket.
