Seven months later.

After finishing lunch at the Blackwood estate, Stella was about to take a nap when an unbearable pain ripped through her abdomen.

She thought she could endure it until after her nap. She had felt the impending signs of labor since breakfast, but with her medical background, she knew the process wouldn't be instant, so she planned to just wait it out.

She never expected the pain to become so intense by noon.

"Grandma, the baby's coming! Have someone take me to the hospital, quickly!"

Shortly after her wedding, Nadine had insisted she move into the main estate, worried she couldn't take proper care of herself alone.

Julius, equally anxious about her being home by herself, had backed his grandmother up.

Figuring it would be nice to keep the old lady company and rest peacefully before the birth, Stella had agreed.

Nadine helped her sit on the sofa and calmly instructed the butler to have the driver ready the car. She told Lisa to grab the pre-packed hospital bag, and then they all rushed her to the hospital.

On the way, the ecstatic grandmother called her eldest grandson, ordering him to drop everything and get to the hospital.

When Julius received the call, he was in the middle of a major board meeting. He abandoned a room full of senior executives with a hasty "Meeting adjourned" and rushed out.

The executives exchanged bewildered looks.

"What on earth happened? Why is the boss in such a panic?"

Their CEO was known for being calm, composed, and unshakeable. Even if the sky were falling, he wouldn't bat an eye. For him to panic like this was unprecedented.

Sean Cahill adjusted his glasses calmly. "The only person capable of making him panic like this is his wife. It's safe to say she's going into labor. The meeting's over; everyone get back to work."

By the time Julius arrived at Brighton Hospital, Stella was just about to be wheeled into the delivery room.
