The doctor offered a reassuring smile. "She's doing perfectly fine. We'll be transferring her to a regular room shortly, so you can go wait for her there."

"Thank you, doctor!" Nadine beamed with pure joy. "Oh, wonderful! I finally have a great-grandson. Julius, quickly text your grandparents and parents!"

Julius pulled out his phone, grumbling under his breath, "Why isn't it a girl? I wanted a beautiful daughter exactly like Stella."

Nadine, whose hearing was as sharp as ever, caught his muttering. "A son is a blessing! We have a massive family empire. Let the boy come first so he can inherit the business and make plenty of money for his little sister to spend. Would you really want a girl to carry the heavy burden of running the company?"

Julius found her logic flawless. His disappointment vanished as he nodded. "You're absolutely right. We'll just have a beautiful daughter next time."

He was absolutely certain that his daughter would be gorgeous.

Since Stella had a smooth natural delivery, she could have been discharged after three days. However, Nadine and Julius were so overprotective that they insisted she stay in the hospital for a full week to rest.

A month later, Nadine hosted a lavish celebration for her great-grandson's one-month milestone, inviting relatives and friends to share in the joy.

"By the way, I have to tell you something," Sylvie leaned in closer. "My cousin shares a dorm with Chloe Hawthorne. Apparently, Chloe dropped out of college and is being kept by some rich old man."
