Estelle watched as those luxurious clothes were taken upstairs before she reluctantly tore her gaze away. Ariel Melton’s designs were her favorite, so she was going to find a way to steal them for herself.

No, not only that-Estelle was going to find a way to take all of Louisa’s clothes.

Maryanne walked over just then. “You’re home, Mr. Hayes. Dinner is ready. Would you like to have it now?”

“Yes,” Jasper said. He then turned to Timothy and said politely, “Please join us for dinner too, Mr. Lowe.”

Timothy didn’t refuse the offer and nodded. He wanted to see what Jasper and Louisa’s relationship was like so far.

Estelle and Rosie naturally stayed for dinner as well.

As the two followed behind the group, Rosie lowered her voice and said, “You see? These are the advantages of marrying into the Hayes family. You have to work hard, Estelle!”

Estelle glanced over the dining table before sitting down in the other seat next to Jasper.

“You’re so nice to my sister, Jasper,” Estelle said gently, her eyes filled with adoration. “I thought you’d be angry with Louisa after what she did last night. I didn’t expect you to buy her all those clothes too.”

She then beamed at Jasper. “Louisa must be really happy to be with you.”

With her seemingly innocent expression, it might sound like she genuinely meant well with her words. But in truth, Estelle was maliciously dragging last night’s incident back into the light.

A hint of guilt surfaced in Jasper’s eyes as he gazed at Louisa.

Grilled shrimp was specially prepared for dinner tonight.

Timothy felt a little remorseful toward Jasper for what had happened last night. He was about to ask Louisa to serve Jasper some food when he saw Louisa staring at the grilled shrimp, salivating. He nearly forgot-grilled shrimp was Louisa’s favorite dish.
