Damien’s pretty invested in it.”

Looking a bit bummed, Amelia poked at the lemon slice in her cup with the stirrer.

“He should be coming back to the house once he’s done. Wanna come with me?” Brandon

offered.

He knew she wanted to see Damien. Even though he had feelings for her, he kept them to

himself. All he ever wanted was for her to be happy.
