Ever since Amelia Johnson started showing up on set every day, Zoey Mitchell had been scheming non–stop for payback.

Then one day she happened to overhear a chat between Amelia and Isla Shaw – and just like that, an idea hit her.

“Looks like Damien Taylor’s done playing with her, huh.”

Before long, a bunch of reporters flooded the studio entrance, all trying to get a word with

Amelia.

Amelia and Isla, who were just about to head out, were instantly annoyed.

“Where’d this swarm of reporters come from?”

Zoey strolled over casually, smirking as she tossed out a sarcastic remark. “Isn’t this great? Some people are finally getting their spotlight moment.”

Amelia’s lashes twitched slightly – she clocked it right away. Zoey was behind this mess.

She grabbed Isla and turned to head back to the break room.

Zoey didn’t rush either. “Those paparazzi’ve got more patience than you two – time to see

who breaks first.”

Back in the break room, Isla caught on to what was happening too, a bit pissed now. “Geez, Zoey’s like a piece of gum on your shoe that just won’t go away.”

Amelia chuckled and crooked her finger at Isla playfully.

Isla leaned in, Amelia whispered something to her – when she pulled back, Isla was grinning

devilishly.

Zoey’s break room was right next to Isla’s. She had her assistant standing watch outside, ready to tip her off the second either Amelia or Isla stepped out.

“Zoey, here’s your outfit for later. Why not just change into it now?”

The stylist who walked in didn’t look familiar at all, which raised a few eyebrows from the

“Is Mr. Taylor here to pick up Miss Johnson?” someone called out.

His bodyguards cleared a path – no one could get within arm’s reach as he walked… right past “Amelia.” Didn’t even glance at her.
