Chapter 178 Your man
“This is literally stabbing someone in the back! What a scumbag–trash like that should be
wiped off the face of the earth!” Emily Carter was fuming, clenching her fists. “Amelia, don’t
you have some way to mess with this lowlife? He tried to harm your man!”
Your man.
Those two words instantly lit up Amelia Johnson’s face with a grin. Hell yeah–anyone who
dared mess with her man had to pay the price.
So she grabbed her laptop and started hacking into Michael Bennett’s company.
If she didn’t turn that place into total chaos, then she wasn’t Amelia Johnson!
Meanwhile, over in Moscow, Michael was losing his mind after Damien Taylor slipped
through his carefully laid trap. Right there on the spot, he snapped and got rid of a few
useless subordinates.
“A perfectly laid plan, and he still managed to escape? Unbelievable!”
Especially since Damien was alone at the time!
His secretary, nervously fidgeting, said, “Rumor has it a hacker gave Mr. Damien a route that
avoided all the surveillance cameras. Later, a top–tier hacker even breached our security
system and issued false commands, which led our guys to the wrong place.”
Bam! Michael slammed his fist on the desk, sending everything flying to the ground.
“Find that damn hacker! No one screws with my plans and walks away!”
The secretary rushed out, but within minutes, he came running back in a panic. “Mr. Bennett,
it’s bad–our firewall’s been breached. Someone leaked the land development files. Now our
stock is tanking fast!”
“What?!” Michael shot to his feet, slamming the desk again. “Who is it now?!”
Gulping, the secretary muttered, “It was… the same top hacker.”
Michael’s face darkened, veins bulging across his forehead, his jaw tensed like it could snap
steel–he had no clue when he’d pissed off someone with that level of skill.
The news made its way to Damien soon enough.

Liam Taylor came bouncing into the office, full of energy. “Bro, I’m tellin‘ ya, karma’s real!
Michael Bennett got hit hard–justice served. And the best part? We didn’t even have to lift a
finger. It’s satisfying as hell!”
“Man, I seriously wanna meet that legend and treat him to a huge meal!”
It should’ve been good news. But when Damien had someone look into it and found out this
hacker was the same one from before, he couldn’t shake off the weird feeling.
The first time they helped Amelia. Now they helped him.
What did this person want?
If they were gonna show up asking for something, maybe he could deal with that. But this
guy? Not a word, not a trace. That’s what made it creepy.
Could be dangerous.
“Bro? You spaced out again,” Liam waved a hand in front of Damien’s face.
Damien blinked and shook his head. “Nothing. Why are you still here? Don’t you have racing
practice?”
“Yeah, I was headed there, but my agent just called. Said there’s this music video role and
they want me in it.” He gave a proud chuckle. “Said I’ve got the perfect look and I’m already a
racer anyway. I’m going over now, just dropped by real quick.”
Damien nodded. “Alright, go.”
“But that’s not the real reason I came up.” Liam grinned. “Your birthday’s the day after
tomorrow, remember? I talked to Mom and big bro–we’re throwing you a party. Sound good?”
“Up to you,” Damien replied smoothly. Seeing that Damien Taylor was buried in work, Liam
Taylor didn’t push further. He patted his chest confidently and said, “Trust me, this birthday
party’s gonna blow your mind!”
After helping Damien get back at Michael Bennett, Amelia Johnson felt way better. She went
back to working on her painting “Sunset Glow,” only to realize she was missing a very specific
paint color. She instantly went online to search for it, and sure enough, while one company
had it, it had been discontinued for a while.
