Chapter 180 Punishment Kiss
Private booth in a café.
Amelia Johnson had been trying to calm Damien Taylor down for a while, but nothing seemed to work. He sat there sulking, chain–smoking like it could chase the frustration away. One deep drag later, he choked and started coughing hard.
“Can you just stop smoking already?” Amelia’s eyes turned red with worry, afraid he’d hurt his
wound again.
Damien stomped out the cigarette and turned his face away, refusing to look at her, clearly
still upset.
He was hurting too–after all, witnessing your girlfriend flirting with an older guy was no joke. Left with no choice, Amelia spilled everything, explaining the whole story, then reached out and gripped his hand. “I’m really sorry. I swear it won’t happen again.”
When Damien learned it was all for his birthday gift, he didn’t know whether to be touched or
pissed.
“You could’ve just told me.”
“If I told you, it wouldn’t be a surprise,” Amelia pouted and tugged lightly at his sleeve, while softening her tone. “Turn around. Let me look at you.”
“What’s there to look at?” Damien muttered darkly.
She walked around to face him, held his face in both hands, peered into his eyes with all seriousness, and said, “I just saw something gross, so I need to look at someone handsome
and lovely to cleanse my eyes.”
That finally got through to Damien. Still, he crashed his lips onto hers in a fierce kiss.
Breath taken, Amelia melted into his arms.
That kiss–it wasn’t sweet or gentle. It felt like punishment.
Damien didn’t hold back. His intensity made Amelia’s mind spin.
Breathless, Amelia couldn’t help but let out a muffled moan, only to make Damien even more
unrestrained.

Chapter 180 Punishment Kiss
Had they not been in public, he might’ve lost all control and just taken her right then and
there.
Once Damien cooled down, Amelia finally let out a long, relieved sigh.
Claim
When her dad, Richard Johnson, first pushed her to go on that awkward blind date, she already imagined Damien’s reaction–and yep, she’d been right. He was terrifying when mad.
Still, the unluckiest guy in all this had to be Mr. Zion. His business was going downhill fast,
on the verge of collapse.
Ring ring ring…
Right as Richard was ranting about how Amelia had to ace the blind date and saying he wouldn’t let her off the hook if she failed to secure Mr. Zion, he saw a call from Damien and all that bark vanished instantly. In a flash, he turned into a total wimp as he picked up the
phone.
“Hello, Mr. Taylor–sir, what can I do for you?”
“Heard you’re pushing Summer into a date with some old guy?” Damien’s voice was like a
blade dipped in ice.
Richard flinched hard. “I, I…”
Damien cut him off coldly, “For Summer’s sake, I’ll let this go once. Just once. But I don’t
want to hear about anything like this again. Got it?”
Though not loud, the chill in his voice went straight to the bone.
“Got it! For sure! Never again!” Richard even raised a hand like swearing an oath. He was
honestly scared stiff of Damien.
After hanging up, Richard collapsed onto the couch like he’d survived a car crash, clutching his chest and desperately trying to calm his racing heart.
Still, one silver lining–Damien clearly cared a lot about Amelia. That meant they were really
solid.
“Was that Mr. Zion calling?” Grace Williams stepped in and asked.
“Enough, save it. Just leave,” Richard said with a wave, clearly annoyed. She couldn’t argue and left, feeling humiliated.
