Chapter 200 Pregnant
This guy really was a match made in heaven with Sabrina Johnson–same bizarre logic,
totally out there. Just like that saying: ridiculously average, but somehow brimming with
confidence.
Amelia Johnson rolled her eyes and typed back five simple words: “Wish you two happiness.”
Those five words hit Ethan Collins like a punch to the gut. He was convinced Amelia was just
putting on an act, pretending not to care, when deep down she must be crying her heart out
under the covers.
So of course, he fired off another message.
Ethan Collins: “Amelia, stop playing hard to get. I’m giving you one last chance–if you show
up at my place now, I’ll call off the engagement with Sabrina and choose you. And think
about this, Damien Taylor isn’t someone you can handle easily.”
He continued, “Plus, the Taylors have three brothers–they’re bound to fight over the company
later. But me? I’m the only heir to the Collins family business. No drama, no competition.”
Amelia felt like a whole flock of crows just flew over her head.
She didn’t even hesitate–blocked Ethan’s new number then and there.
When she didn’t reply, Ethan assumed he’d hit the nail on the head. She must be too stunned
to respond.
*Knock knock-*
“Ethan, come down, sweetheart. Sabrina and her parents are here,” Patricia Collins called
from outside the door, smiling brightly. “And your grandpa’s here too. Let’s sit and talk things
through, maybe pick a date and get this engagement sorted.”
Ethan was beyond annoyed. If he hadn’t accidentally slept with Sabrina, he never would’ve
agreed to any of this!
After Patricia called him down a third time, Ethan finally dragged himself out of the room.
“What’s there to talk about? It’s just an engagement.”
“Your grandfather isn’t on board. So later, be firm, got it?” Patricia reminded him.

Claim
Something sparked in Ethan’s eyes. Right–if Grandpa stayed against it, maybe there was still
hope.
He practically rushed downstairs.
“Ethan!” Sabrina called out pitifully.
But Ethan just threw her a glance before heading straight to Mr. Collins and sitting next to
him. “Hello, sir. Ma’am.”
The look on Richard Johnson and Grace Williams‘ faces wasn’t great, which made Ethan
start sweating. He had a bad feeling about this.
“Mr. Johnson, I do not approve of this engagement,” Mr. Collins declared bluntly.
But Richard didn’t miss a beat. He slammed a report down on the table–Sabrina’s
ultrasound.
“This is what your precious grandson did, and now he has to take responsibility.”
Ethan froze, like he’d just been hit by a freight train.
“Oh my gosh, Sabrina, you’re pregnant?” Patricia was over–the–moon excited. She turned to
Mr. Collins with a thrilled smile. “Sir, you’re going to be a great–grandfather soon. This is
amazing!”
The deed was done–nothing Mr. Collins said could change that now.
While the two families were deep in discussion about the engagement party, Ethan pulled
Sabrina upstairs, needing answers.
“Last week you told me you were on your period and refused to book a room. So how are you
pregnant all of a sudden?!”
Sabrina quickly shook her head, eyes filled with tears like she was the victim. “Ethan, I found
out I was pregnant back then–I just didn’t know how to tell you. And the doctor said no s*x
during the first trimester… That’s why I pushed you away.“I… I’m sorry, Ethan… Mom and Dad
found my ultrasound results and dragged me over. I didn’t mean to hide it, I just… I really want
to have your baby…”
As soon as the news landed, Ethan Collins felt like he’d been struck by lightning. He
collapsed onto the couch, completely drained.
Amelia, who was lounging on the couch watching TV, barely lifted her eyes. “Didn’t you
