Reborn Second Chance With The Scheming Tycoon novel Chapter 255

a relationship, traveling together is a must–it’s during a trip that you truly see if you’re right for each other.” Liam made the comment while sneaking glances at his phone; after all, the whole idea came from something he read online.

He concluded with a grin, “Damien, take Amelia on a trip. Who knows? You might come back as a party of three.”

Damien mulled it over, then asked Liam to choose a sports car for the journey. While he didn’t fully buy into Liam’s logic, there was some truth in it. So, he went to Amelia and brought up the idea of going on a short vacation together.

“But aren’t you super busy lately?” Amelia asked, concerned that he’d be overwhelmed once he

returned.

Damien shook his head. “I was, but that project is finished now. It’s time I gave myself a break–and

spent it with you.”

Amelia smiled sweetly. “Alright, when do we leave?”

“Now.”

“Now?” she blinked, thinking he was joking–until they arrived at a private airstrip and saw a jet fully prepped for departure.

That’s when she realized: Damien really meant it.

Of course, Amelia didn’t resist. After all, who could say no to a man who says and does?

Once on board, Damien told her to rest a bit.

“Is it a long flight?” she asked.

“About three hours.”

He had already set up a cozy nook for her to nap in. “Come on, let’s sleep together.”

Though she wasn’t sleepy yet, Amelia still obediently curled up next to him.

At first, they chatted idly. Then she asked curiously, “What made you suddenly want to go

with me?”

“So we can have some time alone, just the two of us,” Damien explained. Of course, the de reason–he kept to himself.

It made sense, so Amelia didn’t press further.

His low, soothing voice lulled her to sleep.

When she woke again, they had arrived at their destination–a gorgeous estate.

Stepping off the plane, Amelia was immediately captivated by the sea of blooming roses.

“This is the first time I’ve seen so many roses in one place. Even the air smells fresher,” she said in

awe.

“That’s the vineyard over there. We can try some of the new wine later,” Damien added.

From his tone, Amelia could already guess–the vineyard was his.

The estate was centered around a grand, old–fashioned castle surrounded by the rose fields.

“We’re staying here for the next few days?” Amelia asked, feeling a bit uneasy. The castle reminded her of a horror film she’d recently seen, and the thought of sleeping there gave her chills.

Sensing her discomfort, Damien was surprised. “How about we camp outside tonight instead? There’s a soft grassy area on the estate–perfect for it.”

“Yes, let’s do that!” Amelia’s eyes lit up.

She excitedly chatted about her childhood. “Back then, we didn’t even have tents. We just lay on the grass and gazed at the stars. The stars in the countryside are so much brighter than in the

city.”

“If we ever get the chance, I’ll take you there. There’s this firefly valley you missed out on last time. It was magical.”

Damien smiled. “Sounds perfect. Let’s do that. But first, I’ll set up the tent for tonight.”

But Damien pulled out the tent and gear himself. “If I’m with you, I want to do everything myself.”

That simple line warmed Amelia’s heart.

Indeed, when he was with her, Damien wasn’t the cold CEO–he was just her boyfriend.

Once everything was set up, Amelia thought it would be perfect with some food.

So the two of them went into the castle kitchen to make a late–night snack.

“I want something that doesn’t make me gain weight. Can you manage that, Mr. Taylor?” Amelia

Damien shook his head with a smile. “Nope. And you don’t need to lose weight–you should gain

some.”

He leaned in close and murmured into her ear, “Soft and curvy feels better to the touch.”
