Patricia Collins stared daggers at Amelia Johnson. “Aren’t you leaving yet? Stop embarrassing both our families. You may not care about your reputation, but we do!”

Ethan Collins reached for her arm, “Come on, I’ll take you home.”

Amelia looked up at him, her voice calm, “I told you, I didn’t steal anything.”

Ethan’s eyes were filled with disgust. “I’m done with you. I thought maybe you just did some shady stuff now and then, but stealing? That’s a whole new low. That’s a crime!”
