Second and third place took their time, about thirty minutes, and their re-drawn pieces were nearly identical to the originals-ninety-five percent match.

Then came Sabrina’s turn.

Her piece? Barely thirty percent similar to the one she’d submitted.

Emily displayed all three on the big screen. “Take a look. The result speaks for itself.”

“Art thief, get out!”

“Yeah, we don’t need cheaters in Veritas!”

Sabrina shook her head, clearly distressed. “It wasn’t like that.”

Emily let out a sarcastic huff. “At this point, what excuse do you even have left?”

“Okay, fine, it wasn’t mine,” Sabrina admitted, biting her lip hard. “But I didn’t mean to submit it-it was a mistake. I grabbed the wrong one by accident. When I found out, I freaked out about losing my spot… I didn’t mean for this to happen.”

“A mix-up? That’s your excuse?” Emily’s smile was sharp. “This isn’t something you can just brush off. Veritas upholds integrity-we can’t keep someone who cheats. Expulsion is the only option.”

The murmuring crowd agreed.

“Totally on purpose. Shameless.”

“Good thing someone noticed. Otherwise she’d be first place.”
