Reborn to Marry My Best Friend's Uncle novel Chapter 187

Just then, the front doors of the villa were kicked open from the outside.

Sean stormed in, flanked by a group of vicious-looking men.

Easton slumped against the couch and forced himself to lift his head. The moment he recognized the intruder, a crack finally appeared in his usually calm eyes.

Sean was back. Easton could hardly believe that he had dared to return.

Sean walked up to him and looked down with a cold, condescending manner. Seeing the once-untouchable Easton now convulse uncontrollably from the drugs sent a twisted thrill of vengeance surging through him.

"Long time no see, Easton," Sean hissed, a cruel smile curling his lips.

He had always loathed the way Easton was in absolute control. That day, he would drag that arrogant Easton through the mud!

Suddenly, Sean's hand shot forward and clamped tightly around Easton's neck to yank him up from the couch.

Deprived of air, Easton flushed a deep red, but his deadly glare remained fixed on Sean. That look of defiance snapped something in the latter.

"Beat him," Sean ordered after releasing his grip and sending Easton crashing to the floor. "Break his legs and toss him in the West District landfill."

He wanted Easton to taste a true fall from grace—stripped of everything and reduced to a useless nobody.

The burly men rushed forward and swung their batons without mercy. The sharp crack of bones breaking was particularly jarring in the spacious living room.

Easton clenched his teeth and refused to make a single sound. The excruciating pain nearly took him under, but his last shred of consciousness reminded him that he should never surrender.

He locked his gaze on Sean, who grew more excited, despite being unsettled by the stare.

"From today on, I call the shots in the Frost family!" He excitedly announced it to Easton, who was already unconscious at his feet.

From now on, he was no longer the second son of the Frosts, who lived in the shadows and begged for scraps at the table. He was the sole head of the Frost family!

Deep down, he vowed to reclaim everything he had lost—Annie included.

As Easton was dragged away, Helena stood to the side and felt immense joy swelling within her chest. It worked!

She had staked everything on her future—and she had won. Sean had finally crushed Easton, the thorn in their side, beneath his heel.
