“You flatter me,” Mr. Hale said with a wave of his hand.

“I’m preparing to launch a few projects recently, but I need a mentor. I’d like to invite you…” Nicole finally made clear her intention.

If a bigshot like Mr. Hale took her in as his disciple, her career in this field would be nothing short of smooth sailing. She would be just like Jasper, who established Nova Nine and made it stronger and bigger.

Mr. Hale put his teacup down and said with a smile, “I don have much to teach you.”

Although it was indirect, it was a rejection, alright.

“How could that be?” Nicole gasped. “You…”

“You’re very outstanding, but you should know the standars I have for my disciples. Are you able to achieve Sophia’s level?” Mr. Hale said with a wave of his hand.

Nicole stood stunned.

He really cared about her.

Since they were already with the two secretaries, Amelia could only wait under the hot sun. Going up to them right now was only going to make them find her irksome.
