Chapter 183
Amelia was clearly rejecting Christopher.
The contract only stated that she couldn’t reveal the fact that they had been married and were now divorced. It didn’t require her to return to their marital home and put up an act with him.
Christopher said nothing and put his hand down.
“Chris, let Ms. Sinclair send me back first. I have something urgent to attend to,” came a familiar voice.
Just then, Nicole walked out of the restaurant.
Now that they had registered their marriage, Nicole had blatantly changed her address of Amelia to Ms. Sinclair instead of Mrs. Zephyr.
Amelia looked coldly at Christopher before bursting into laughter.
Nicole asking her to send Amelia somewhere so unabashedly was probably because she had already discussed it beforehand with Christopher in the restaurant.
They were treating her as their driver.
“Thank you, Ms. Sinclair,” Nicole said with a smile on her face.
Despite that smile, Amelia could see the disdain in the depths of Nicole’s eyes.
Amelia smirked coldly and said, “If you’re in a rush to get reincarnated, I can help you with that.” 1
The smile on Nicole’s face froze.
Before she could say something else, a car stopped right in front of Amelia. The window was wound down, revealing Jasper’s face.
“Mia, get in.”
He had just driven out of the car park when he saw Amelia standing with Christopher and Nicole. He knew at one glance that they were making things difficult for Amelia.
This time, Amelia didn’t reject Jasper.
She wished she could disappear from this place in this instant so that she didn’t need to talk to them anymore. She pulled the car door open and hopped in.
When Luke came out of the restaurant, he saw Amelia opening the car door.
He also caught a glance of the man seated in the car.
Mr. Hale!
Mr. Hale of Institute 511!
Before he could approach them or say something more, the car sped off.
Nicole felt slightly embarrassed by what had just happened.

“She has quite a quick temper,” Nicole said with a smile as she looked at Christopher. “Chris, I suddenly feel that you’re so mild-tempered and good-natured.”
It didn’t seem easy for him to tolerate Amelia for so many years, living under one roof day after day.
Christopher looked blandly at Nicole, saying nothing, a smile hanging on his lips.
Luke walked to them. “Did you two not see Mr. Hale in the car? They were having lunch with Mr. Hale just now!”
“Mr. Hale?” Nicole didn’t seem to notice the man in the car.
“Jasper is Mr. Hale’s disciple. I didn’t expect him to be so blinded by lust that he actually introduced a woman like Amelia to Mr. Hale. Would Mr. Hale waste his time on her?” Luke explained.
It was starting to make sense why Amelia was trying to hook up with Jasper.
Not only did Jasper have connections, but he even knew an authoritative bigshot in the industry. She naturally had to get in Jasper’s good books for the sake of her career. (1)
No wonder she had agreed to the divorce so readily!
Amelia had indeed found her next target. She didn’t look very upset when she signed the divorce papers.
Luke was wondering why she was so swift in deciding to go ahead with the divorce. Given what he had just witnessed, everything made sense.
She had found someone else of a high social standing to cling to.
“Mr. Hale is probably just a senior to Ms. Sinclair,” Nicole said with a smile.
A bigshot like Mr. Hale would never accept Amelia as his disciple. She was a mere graduate. If it weren’t for Jasper, she probably wouldn’t even get a chance to meet Mr. Hale in person.
Christopher had brought Nicole to Mr. Hale many times in a bid for him to take her in as his disciple, but it never
turned out well.
Mr. Hale didn’t show much interest in her, even with her academic qualifications. All the more he wouldn’t spare a glance at Amelia’s way!
“Senior…” Luke scoffed disdainfully. “Whatever it is, even if she had lunch with Mr. Hale, it’s pointless. She’s so hopeless, piling up excellent resources on her would only be a waste.”
