Nathan walked out with a toy aeroplane in hand. His face fell the moment he saw that it was Amelia.

He had to apologize to Evelyn earlier today, and was humiliated in front of his whole school!

“Get out!” Nathan shoved Amelia hard. “We don’t welcome you here!”

He might just be a child, but he pushed with all his might, catching Amelia off guard and making her stumble two steps back. She had to hold onto the pillar behind her to steady herself.

Amelia looked at the once-familiar marital home. It felt like eons had passed since this place was her home. She might have treated it as her home, but it had also become a place that caused her the deepest hurt.

She smirked, her eyes dimming. Everything that had happened seemed like a joke.

Christopher had given her the marital home, but still allowed these two to stay in it. Was he trying to humiliate her?

“Ms. Sinclair, you and Chris are already divorced. It’s not very appropriate of you to come here, is it? Chris will get mad if he finds out.”

Nicole smirked as she leaned against the door frame.

“I’m planning to tear down all existing furnishings in the house and renovate the whole space. Please try not to come to our home in the future. If you refuse to leave, I’ll have to call for security to escort you out.”

Amelia had thoroughly embarrassed Nathan in school. It wasn’t anything major to begin with, yet she refused to let go of it.

As Nathan’s mother, Nicole’s heart broke when she saw her outstanding son humiliated that way. If he weren’t that upright and gentlemanly, he would have made Evelyn apologize to him instead!

Amelia looked darkly at Nicole.

Nicole scoffed at her silence. Was she so mad that she had turned speechless?

Suddenly, Amelia smirked. She pulled out the property transfer document and a duplicate copy of the property title, then flung the documents in Nicole’s face.

Completely caught off guard, Nicole’s face tilted to one side from the shock and impact, her cheek stinging slightly.

She covered her cheek with a hand and turned around to look at Amelia in disbelief.

“Did you just hit me? Do you have any idea what you just did?”

Nathan stood in front of Nicole and yelled, “You wicked witch! Don’t you dare bully Mom!”

Nathan looked ready to launch a counterattack on Amelia.

Nicole looked at the papers and read the name of the owner of this house.

Indeed, this house belonged to Amelia.

Her face turned pale in an instant.

“Got a clear look?” Amelia said flatly. “Move out of my house right away and make sure you take all your belongings, or I’ll be calling the security guards.”

The calm on her face was a stark contrast to the storm brewing in Nicole’s eyes.

Nicole took a deep breath, clenching her fists tight in a bid to collect herself.
