Stephanie scoffed and headed straight to her car.

“I don’t have the time to care about your family’s affairs. So long as you don’t humiliate the Zephyrs’ reputation and bring its century-long legacy down with you, it’s fine.”

She turned back to look at Christopher.

“Let me remind you that Dad lived a proper and upright life throughout his entire career in government service. Upholding his reputation is of utmost importance to him. Don’t ruin it.”

Two of Nova Nine’s partners were snatched away consecutively, and production was stalled.

Winona slammed a document hard on the table.

“Damn it! What in the world is she trying to do?”

Nicole was bent on snatching everything that belonged to Amelia.

Amelia and the team called a company in central Northon and agreed to meet to discuss details tomorrow.

The company in central Northon had a close relationship with Professor Hale and supplied the military with raw materials. Their materials cost more than market price, so companies usually wouldn’t choose to work with them.

She wanted to check on production and coordinate with the various teams and departments.

She couldn’t afford to be careless at any step.

After taking a gulp of water, Amelia’s phone rang.

It was an unfamiliar number.

She answered the call.

“Amelia?” Nicole’s voice came through the phone.

Amelia’s eyes turned cold as she said icily, “What do you want?”

“It’s nothing big. I just wanted to ask you and Mr. Langley to join us for a meeting with our two partners. Megatech closed deals with two partners in quick succession, and we wanted to meet them and celebrate Megatech’s outstanding success in such a short time.”

“I don’t have time to play games with you,” Amelia scoffed

With that, she hung up.

How could someone be so shameless?

Nicole had blatantly snatched two of Amelia’s potential partners away and was now calling her to gloat.
