“I just want you to stay with me and not divorce me. I’m not taking away your freedom,” John explained patiently.

Sierra did not answer.

“Didn’t you just use his life to threaten me?” Sierra shot back.

He had already forgotten what he had just done… How convenient the memory of a powerful man was.

John pressed his lips, but he didn’t defend himself.

He had been as worried about Tommy as she was.

He simply didn’t tell her the truth.

Sierra had just left John’s room without a word.

John was about to call Robin and ask him to tell the Games Division to go easier on the Origin Games team and assign them fewer tasks while teaching them more practical skills when his phone rang.

He glanced at the familiar number and answered.

“Mr. Henderson? Ms. Smith here. Tommy just had a bad allergic reaction to something he ate.” Ms. Smith said, her tone anxious. “It is pretty serious. On your end…”

He didn’t scold anyone. He didn’t waste time on anything else. He immediately called the medical team that had been shadowing Tommy and ordered them to start emergency treatment. He was worried that even one extra sentence might delay Tommy’s care.

Within a minute, they had given Tommy the best possible initial treatment they could.

The medic’s tone was serious as he reported, “Mr. Henderson, Mr. Tommy’s condition is quite serious. We have it under control for the moment, but he needs to be taken to the hospital for a full treatment.”

“There’s a car waiting outside. Someone will clear the way for you.” From the moment John heard what had happened, he had already put every arrangement in place. “Get him to the hospital as fast as you can. I have already spoken to the hospital’s director.”

“Yes, sir.” The medic then hung up.

Once everything was ready, he called the teacher. “Don’t tell my wife about this for now. If anything comes up, I’ll contact you.”
