“Full authority?” Sierra asked Grant as she took the tablet.

Grant wore his usual, polite smile on his face. “Yes.”

Sierra could see everyone who had access from the screen of the tablet Grant handed to her. Other than her own name, there were John Henderson, Pamela Sanders, the butler Grant Rogers, and the rest of the staff.

However, most of them only had the right to pass through the main gate.

Sierra’s fingertip slid down to John Henderson’s name. She opened his profile and looked for a while, but there was no option to

delete him.

“Mr. Henderson was worried you might throw him out, so he set himself as the secondary owner,” Grant explained at once, quietly admiring his employer’s foresight. “You can remove anyone except him.”

Sierra narrowed her eyes. She knew he didn’t do all of this out of the kindness in his heart.

“He said this place belongs to me,” Pamela cut in.

She couldn’t stand still anymore. She did not care much about the place before, but that didn’t mean she wanted to see Sierra

own it.

“Why would he give it to her?” she demanded.

“You would have to ask Mr. Henderson about that. I’m just an ordinary butler,” Grant replied, polite but distant.

Sierra tapped on Pamela’s name. She hit delete without a second of hesitation.

Pamela’s access to Campanile Estate’s outer gate, the villa’s front door, and every lock on the property vanished in an instant.

From now on, no one would open a door for her here. Even if she stood at the estate gate and shouted through a loudspeaker all day, she wouldn’t be able to disturb Sierra.

“Please see Ms. Sanders out,” Sierra said, handing the tablet back to Grant. She didn’t bother giving Pamela another glance. “If she comes back and pulls the same stunt again at the gate like she did today, have security throw her out.”

“Understood,” Grant answered with obvious satisfaction.

Sierra turned around and stopped paying attention to Pamela anymore.

Pamela couldn’t stand Sierra’s superior attitude. In a few quick steps, she stopped in front of Sierra and started shouting.

“You really haven’t changed at all! It’s just like back in university. You’re still throwing your weight around because you think you can!”

“Ms. Bells, my apologies for making you hear such nonsense,” Grant said quickly. He made a move at once and turned to security. “Well, what are you waiting for? Show her out.”

“Wait.” Sierra turned around.

Grant hesitated. “Ms. Bell…”

Sierra walked up to Pamela and met the latter’s eyes. She honestly couldn’t remember when she had ever thrown her weight

around.

“If I told them to pin you to the ground and make you kneel and prostrate yourself on the floor to apologize before throwing you out of Jade City,” Sierra said, voice level, “that would be throwing my weight around. Got that?”

“You won’t dare…!” Pamela blurted out.

“Do you want to find out?” Sierra asked, still calm.

For the first time, Pamela felt unsure. Sierra had always been the kind, easygoing type. But after everything that had happened lately, there was no guarantee she wouldn’t go that far.

The atmosphere between them became tense.

Suddenly, a black car rolled in through the gates and came to a smooth stop in front of the villa.

A moment later, John stepped out of the car. His shirt was clean and his pants crisp. His dark eyes swept once over the strained scene in front of him.

His appearance made Pamela feel as if she had finally found her savior.

“John!” she cried, delighted.
