John had made his position clear. This was not the right time to provoke him. They could take their time and plan it out slowly, so he would never suspect them.

At first, everyone looked at their new boss who came out of nowhere with doubt. When they saw she was a beautiful woman who didn’t look intimidating at all, two team leaders even turned in their resignations.

Sierra tried to keep them as usual. She said she hoped they would stay and help the company through this rough time, and she promised their salaries would still be paid on time. Even so, the two of them still chose to leave.

As for everyone else, they were all waiting and watching. The second they sensed things were going badly, they were going to leave.
