“Kenneth!” Danny shouted at Kenneth, furious.

Kenneth kept a cold look on his face, his attitude perfectly clear. Bringing up the past had stirred up his emotions too. He walked to the door, pulled it open, and told them to leave.
“Please.”
The moment he said it, he saw Sierra standing outside. At the same time, Danny and Agnes walked over as well, and their eyes met.
Danny turned all his anger on Sierra. “You’ve still got the nerve to come here!”
Sierra stayed perfectly calm. “If you two can be here, why can’t I?”
“I really don’t know what John ever saw in you,” Danny snapped.
“Viciousness and heartlessness.” Sierra calmly threw the words back at him without the slightest change in expression. “Or maybe coldness and greed.”
Kenneth froze as his mind went blank for a few seconds. Was this really Sierra?
“I told you she was up to no good. Now you’ve heard it for yourself!” Agnes seized the chance and started making a scene again.
Danny gave Sierra a hard stare and threw out the question. “Did John transfer everything under his name to you?”
“Yes,” Sierra said.
Danny’s face darkened at once.
So it was true!
He had heard before that John was handling some kind of asset transfer, but he had assumed it was just gossip.
“If you know what’s good for you, you’ll give it all back.” Danny’s gaze was sharp. “Don’t force me to do this personally.”
“How will you do it?” Sierra’s voice stayed calm, but her presence was slowly becoming imposing. “The same way you forced John’s friend to his death back then? Or maybe something else?”
Danny’s eyes turned sharp.
“No matter what you want to do, I’ll handle it all,” Sierra said.
Marcus cut in icily. “No, you won’t handle it.”
Sierra looked at him and so did everyone else.

“Before any of those schemes ever reach you, Mr. Nathan Lynch and Mr. Cyrus King will deal with them first,” Marcus said bluntly. “They both really want you and the madam to forgive them, so they’re especially motivated.”
Sierra fell silent.
Danny’s expression finally shifted slightly. He had heard from an old friend that Harbor City had been very lively lately. Cyrus’s granddaughter and Nathan’s daughter were supposedly the same person. However, he had not paid much attention at the time.

Now, it seemed that person really was Sierra?
“You’re…” Danny had only managed to get out a single word.
Sierra cut him off and spoke to Kenneth first. “How is he?”
“He’s still unconscious,” Kenneth looked a little uncomfortable. After all, he had spoken badly about her the night
before.
“Can I go in and see him?” Sierra asked.
Kenneth stepped aside and gestured for her to enter. His attitude made it clear that no matter what her current relationship with John was, she could come and go freely as long as John was there.
Danny wanted to yell at Sierra for impolitely cutting him off, but before he could even speak, Kenneth spoke first.
“I’ve got other things to handle, so I won’t be seeing you out. Please leave.”
Then, Kenneth shut the door in front of them.
The ward was once again silent.
Sierra slowly walked over.
The moment she saw John’s closed eyes, there was a storm of emotions forming inside her. He was a lot thinner than before. His complexion was awful, and it was obvious he was dying fast.
“How long has he been unconscious?” Sierra asked.
“Three days,” Kenneth answered.
When he first collapsed, Robin had rushed him to the hospital. At first, they thought it was just from not eating or sleeping properly. When he still had not woke
up after two days, they panicked.
Sierra kept her eyes on his pale face. “What did the doctor say?”
“The cure must fit the disease, apparently,” Kenneth said.
