"You knew that?" Kenneth was extremely curious. "It took me forever just to find out that much."
John did not say anything else and got straight to the point. "How are things now?"
Given how much Solomon cared about Tammy, there was no way he would let her go. At the same time, he wouldn't easily go against his parents' wishes.
Ever since he was a boy, Solomon had been more sensible and obedient than John had ever been. He followed his parents' arrangements in everything. In their eyes, he had always been the well-behaved son.
Based on what Solomon had said before, there was no way he would give up his career for Tammy.
"Hard to say." It had already taken a great deal of effort for Kenneth to find out Tammy was involved at all. "I only know he has been spending most of his time at the company lately, and he has postponed a lot of business trips."
John's eyes darkened slightly.
When Kenneth did not hear anything from John for a long time, he took a wild guess. "What are you thinking?"
"Nothing." John had no intention of saying more. "Go deal with your work. I still have things to handle over here."
Kenneth was confused. But before he could ask anything else, John had already hung up without hesitation.
John held grudges, especially when it came to Sierra. He still remembered how Solomon had people corner her in Jade City. "Robin."
Robin immediately stepped forward. "Sir."
"What's the progress regarding what I ordered you to do earlier?" John asked.
"I already pushed them to speed things up." Robin knew exactly what he meant. "Tammy's shows were supposed to start airing one after another in another month. The marketing campaigns are already prepared as well."
"Push them harder. Best if they start airing in the next few days." John's eyes darkened. He wanted Solomon too overwhelmed to keep up with everything.
He had warned Solomon not to touch Sierra.
Since Solomon refused to listen, John supposed he had no choice but to make things worse for him when he was already in trouble.
He had not taken away her phone, and he had not cut off her contact with the outside world. But the moment she asked anyone to help her leave, her sister would immediately fall under Solomon's control.
She could not leave, and she could not get away.
"A hunger strike?" A warm voice suddenly rang, but there was not a trace of warmth in it.
Tammy shuddered.
The maid turned toward the door. The moment she saw who it was, her voice started shaking. "Mr. Henderson."
"If she doesn't eat, then none of you are getting paid this month."
Solomon handled things differently from John. He was the type who would truly do whatever it took to get what he wanted.
"You get paid when she eats."
