Regrets Come Too Late (Sierra and Johnny) novel Chapter 633

"Are you alright?" John walked over to Sierra in the changing room, the worry in his eyes impossible to hide.

Sierra was picking out a coat she liked and looked confused. "What?"

"Kenneth said Cedric followed you in." John explained right away, not wanting her to get the wrong idea. "I was worried he might try something dangerous."

Sierra blinked.

Had Cedric not already left?

Just as she was about to say that, the door outside suddenly slammed shut with a huge bang.

John frowned and went to pull the handle.

"Lance closed the door." A figure flashed past outside, but Sierra still caught it.

John paused, his hand still on the handle. When he looked back at her, there was something more in his eyes. He wanted to explain, but he did not know whether Sierra would believe him.

"I know it wasn't you." Sierra knew him well enough to know he would never do something that petty. "They were probably trying to get us back together, so they pulled a few tricks."

"Are you willing to, then?" John asked, taking the chance.

"No," Sierra answered without the slightest pause.

John locked his eyes on her. "Not even a little?"

"Not even a little."

John had already known that would be her answer, but hearing it still left him with mixed feelings.

Under the room's light and got changed, Sierra picked out a coat almost the same color as the one from before. Her expression stayed calm, without the slightest ripple. "Call them and have them open the door. Tommy will get worried if he's left waiting too long."

John nodded.

When he took out his phone, he realized there was no signal.

Seeing him stop, Sierra asked, "What is it?"

"Take a guess why it isn't going through." Lance gave him a meaningful look.

Robin paused, then instantly understood. He pulled out his phone and sent John a message.

[Lance and I are downstairs. Just say the word if you need anything.]

Lance saw it, gave a light cough, and pretended nothing had happened. He knew perfectly well that once he came out of that room, both he and Kenneth were in for some punishment. But for their happiness, no risk was too great.

"Why are you giving me a weird look?" Robin asked, confused.

"Does it?" Lance asked.

"A little." Robin nodded.

"The boss glared at me when I cluelessly followed him just now." Understanding flickered in Robin's eyes.

Lance remembered there was still one more thing he needed to do. His eyes shifted, and he clutched his stomach. "Do you know where the restroom is? My stomach hurts."
