Regrets Come Too Late (Sierra and Johnny) novel Chapter 648

Chapter 648

Listening to John’s warning, Marcus said, “I know where the line is, but Tony doesn’t.”

In short, go deal with Tony.

Sierra and Tommy had been watching from some distance the whole time, but because they were too far away to hear anything, they only saw John and Marcus standing together for a while. There was no fight and any sort of argument.

“Let’s go. There won’t be a fight,” Sierra said, squeezing Tommy’s hand.

Tommy nodded.

They didn’t know what John had said to Marcus, but Sierra knew John had bought him.

The reason was simple, too. At breakfast, Marcus had deliberately put John’s seat next to hers. After John left, he even said, “Mr. Henderson is alright.”

“To me, yes,” Marcus said.

Sierra fell silent.

“You and Tony can take a break this week,” Sierra said; she did not press him. “Come with me to the Lynch’s family residence next Saturday night. Things will get busy again after that.”

“Of course,” Marcus said.

Over the next few days, Sierra finally had some free time.

The work at Medicare had already been assigned, so she did not need to handle anything for now. Once the micro module was finished next week, she would plan the rest.

However, she did not spend her time relaxing.

She kept taking in new knowledge and learning more about the social circle she would be joining. If everything she needed to learn was a book, then she had only learned the table of contents and the outline of each section before she accepted the King family’s test.

Now, she had to fill those contents in. Once she finished, she would understand the whole thing.

Time passed quickly.

Soon, it was time to go to the Lynch family for the dinner.

Before she left, Anna reminded her again, “Those people from the Lynch family never has anything nice to say.If
