Regrets Come Too Late (Sierra and Johnny) novel Chapter 652

"Well..."

Everyone exchanged a gaze with one another when Cedric spoke up and challenged Sierra's lineage.

"Has anyone seen a DNA test?" Cedric asked again.

No one knew how to answer after Cedric mentioned it.

While Nathan was the largest shareholder of Lynch Group, Cedric also held quite a handful of shares. At least at this table, he had the most shares after Nathan.

"From what I understand, Sierra is Anna's daughter with someone else in Jade City."

Cedric was determined to spin this out of control. John was there earlier, so Cedric was forced to hold back. Now that John was gone, he had no reason to watch his words.

What he said was half true and half false. Even if Nathan wanted to refute him, he would not know where to start.

"Is that true?"

"Nathan, did you do a DNA test?"

"Now that I think about it, you and Anna haven't been in contact for more than twenty years. How do you know Sierra is your child?"

"The King family has never gotten along with the Lynch family. Is it possible that Sierra is someone the King family deliberately sent to take revenge on us? I remember she's very close to the King family now."

The discussion started just like that.

Nathan glanced at Cedric. He didn't believe for one second that these people were not acting on Cedric's directions.

"Why aren't you saying anything, Nathan?" Cedric asked. "Is it because you never did a DNA test? Are you only calling Anna's child yours because you used to like Anna?"

"Sierra is my daughter, believe it or not." Nathan had always handled things this way. He looked around the room in an oppressive manner. "Anyone with eyes can see the relationship between us."

Everyone exchanged a glance.

That was true. They had doubted it at first, but after seeing Sierra today, they believed it already. She looked a lot like Nathan.

Cedric wanted to refute him, but he did not know what to say. His son had indeed accomplished nothing over the years. Every project given to him had either made a loss or ended in a complete failure.

"I've said everything that needs to be said." Nathan pulled the topic back, looking at each of them one by one. "All of you have been through enough. You know how to choose better than I do."

"Nathan, eat," Daniel said, stopping the argument in one way.

Nathan had already said everything he needed to say, so he had no intention of speaking again.

Meanwhile, the others looked at Cedric's dark expression and stopped talking.

"What they said just now isn't completely unreasonable. If you want Sierra to inherit your shares in the future, a paternity test is necessary," Daniel said. "When you have time, take one with her. That way, we don't have to worry about anyone else's doubts."

Nathan looked at Daniel.

Whose side was he on, exactly?
