Regrets Come Too Late (Sierra and Johnny) novel Chapter 660

John looked at his phone with a thought in his mind. Sierra had to actually manage to make the marriage happen if she wanted to marry someone else.

Sierra had no idea John's considerations had changed so much in such a short time. After she got home, she went upstairs to look for Anna and Tommy and chatted with them about ordinary things.

About half an hour later, Sierra's phone rang.

When she saw an unknown number, she did not think much of it. After taking over Medicare, she no longer hung up on calls without thinking twice. "Hello, who is this?"

"Is this Sierra? I'm your uncle. We met tonight." The person on the other end introduced himself right away. "Do you have time to come out for a meal tomorrow?"

Sierra thought back for a moment, but she couldn't remember which one he was.

Anna had shown her the Lynch family information before, but she and John had left before Nathan could even introduce everyone to her tonight. Naturally, she had no impression of this person.

When the person on the other end heard no response, he quickly added another line to keep things from becoming too awkward. "You left too soon, and I didn't even get to have a proper chat with you."

"I've been quite busy lately." Sierra thought of what Tony had told her earlier and tried to take control of the flow of the conversation. "When I'm free, I'll visit you."

The other side fell silent, but spoke again three seconds later. "Do you know who I am…"

Sierra then spoke at the same time. "I have another call coming in. I'll talk to you later."

The call ended there.

Though the truth was that Sierra really did have another call coming in.

As for the uncles on the other side, they all began blaming the man who had called her after Sierra hung up.

"Sierra already put it that way. Why didn't you just agree to it?"

"She doesn't even know who I am! How was I supposed to agree to anything?" The man felt heavy and conflicted. "Besides, don't you know what it means when someone says they'll visit when they're free?"

"Just pretend you don't know what that means and send her your address, then tell her you look forward to her visit."

"Exactly! Whether she comes or not is up to her, but you have to show your attitude."

"After you send the address, call her again. Be nicer."

"I'll write a program for you later and block all the numbers from the irrelevant people in the Lynch family." Anna did not ask anything else. "You can unblock them whenever you want."

Sierra gave Anna a thumbs up.

Should she say it really was great to have such an amazing mother?

"Then thank you very much, Mom."

"It's nothing."

Anna did exactly what she said. She opened her laptop and started writing the program, finishing it in about twenty minutes.

Only after Sierra installed it did Anna ask, "Did something unpleasant happen there tonight?"

"Ms. Sierra, Madam. Mr. Nathan Lynch is here." Before Sierra could speak, Marcus came in and reported the situation.

Anna had only been a little suspicious at first, but after hearing that, she was completely certain. If nothing had happened, Nathan would not have come over this late at night.
