She sat on the bed with tears in her eyes not believing he was the same man that treated her nicely just a few minutes ago.

Jenna’s heart skipped a bit as she looked at Alpha Ryker walking towards her in bed.

“Take off your clothes,” Alpha Ryker commanded again with a stern look.

Her eyes twitched, hoping he didn’t mean what he said and maybe heard wrong. But she didn’t.

She looked at his eyes which were turning even darker as they pierced through her face.

“Do not play dumb with me.”

“I said strip!” He commanded fiercely. “Do not make me do it for you, Little one. Strip!” He growled, making her

tense up.

“I was wrong, he doesn’t care about me, it’s just the babies and the contract. I’m just his plaything,” Jenna thought to herself as tears streamed down her face.

With trembling hands, she had no choice but to take off the hospital gown she had on.

He took off his shirt, exposing his perfectly toned body which made her drown at the sight of his body, and her wolf Lexa wagged her tails. “This was the first time she was having a clear view of his body.”

She shook her head at the thought of her wolf wanting his warmth so badly.

Next, he loosened his belt and pulled his pants. Her eyes followed the movement but rather than watching how he flinched his belt, her eyes were glued to what was between his legs.

The air between them became tense as their eyes locked together and she felt the spark of connection.

“Mrs. Anderson and the Chauffeur will get you home.”

She was still stunned, unsure of what she had done to offend him this much when he walked to the door, grabbing the door knob.

“Going against my order is like death, you are about to see a new type of hell,” he snapped and walked out of the door leaving her battered on the floor.

Jenna sat close to the window this morning, tears streaming down her eyes.

It’s been two weeks since she had last set her eyes on Alpha Ryker. After the incident at the hospital where he left her battered on the floor, he never went back to Night Villa.

He had left her for Mrs. Anderson and the chauffeur to get her home without turning back to look at her. When they got home he wasn’t there and Jenna was not allowed to leave the house.

She tried calling him but he wasn’t taking her calls, he only spoke with the old lady and she wouldn’t tell her where he had gone.

Jenna’s heart felt torn apart, she knew she wasn’t supposed to miss him because he didn’t care about her and not after what he did to her but his absence left a gap in her heart.

Just then a soft knock came on her door and she quickly wiped her tears away before the person came in.

“Morning Miss Jenna,” the old lady said, staring at her eyes which were puffy.

“Morning Mrs Anderson,” she responded, trying to conceal the fact that she’s been crying.

“Moon goddess, you look like a mess. Did you even sleep last night?” the old lady asked…

“Urmm, ye.. yes,” she stuttered.

“You are lying to me, little child.” you know you shouldn’t be stressing or thinking for the sake of your babies and yourself.

“Yes,” Jenna nodded.

“Do not make this harder than it seems for me already,” the old lady added, gently patting her back.

Although she never liked Jenna initially she’s grown fond of having her around.

“Is he back?” Jenna asked with a glint of hope.

Not yet, and I suggest you take your mind off him for the moment and focus on yourself first, he will definitely come around, Mrs Anderson advised staring at her with pity.

“Can I at least visit him at the office?” she asked, staring at the old lady.

“About that, he hasn’t been to the company since the day you last saw him.” the lady responded.

Jenna’s last hope was crushed at this point leaving her confused./

“You should eat now, little child,” Mrs Anderson said, passing her the tray of food she brought for her.

Just then Mrs Anderson’s phone rang and Jenna took a peek. Her stomach churned in anxiety the moment she saw the name on the screen.

“Alpha Ryker? But why could he be calling?” her thoughts raced as she waited for the old lady to finish taking her

call.

“It was the Alpha, he checked in on you and you can go out to the mall just for today,” the old lady announced, grinning at her.

Jenna couldn’t contain her excitement. She picked up her phone to call him hoping he would answer but he didn’t.

“Hey gurl,” Kaya’s voice sounded from the other end of the phone.

“I guess you are done enjoying your man since you remembered to call today,” she teased.

“What do you mean you wish? Is he not treating you well?” Kaya shot with anger evident in her voice.

“We should talk over lunch after shopping in the mall if you are free today.”

“Of course, I would always be available for you.

“Send me your address and I will come to pick you up in twenty minutes,” Jenna said to her and ended the call.

She quickly took her bath and dressed up. When she was done she picked up her bag and just then a message came into her phone from her best friend.

She walked down the staircase and saw the old lady was waiting for her.

“Here,” Mrs Anderson said, handing her a new black card. He said to use this for shopping.

“This is too much, I have mine already,” Jenna proposed.

“This is not a choice, it’s an order, foolish child,” the old lady snapped.

“Okay,” she muttered as they headed to where the cars and security were waiting.

As soon as they got in, she let the chauffeur know they would be making a quick stop to pick Kaya.

The chauffeur looked at Mrs Anderson to be sure and the old lady nodded in approval.

A few minutes later they had picked Kaya up and her jaw dropped at the luxurious cars in line. She couldn’t stop talking about it to Jenna who kept laughing. She missed her best friend so much.

They got to the mall and in no time they were done shopping. Jenna felt a particular pair of eyes was watching her but each time she turned around the person disappeared.

“Kaya, I feel someone is watching me,” she lamented.

“But I can’t see anyone, Jenna.” I think you might be stressed because of your babies, Kaya waved it off as they made their way to have lunch.

They got to the Skybar lounge and as soon as they sat she smelt a familiar scent. Her mate must be around here.
