Hospital

I wake up to the sterile smell of a hospital room, and the first person I see is Zander, crouched beside me, his hands wrapped around mine as he rubs them tenderly.

“Baby… oh, thank God you’re back. Back to me!” he says, kissing my forehead.

Memories rush back like a flood, and my hands immediately move to my stomach. I sigh in relief when I feel my bump.
